Thank you for bringing all of us together, Sapan, to celebrate Sunil’s 70th. ❤️

A lovely afternoon spent with the theatrewalas, reminiscing about memories with Mr. Shanbag.

So much joy and love you’ve given us, Sunil. I know you’re rather shy about receiving all this love, but please take it all in. We have so much of it, just for you.

I finally got a photograph with you after all these years! And it made me realise, once again, just how hard directors work to hold a team together and create a world that we all get to be a part of.

Upwards and onwards, ahoy, Sunil! Here’s to the next round.

Love & only love… ❤️
Namit

Late post.

I’m writing this a month later, thanks to a busy schedule, a month of running around, and generally being all over the place.

I had the opportunity to work with an amazing bunch of people on Premala Conditions Apply, a show predominantly in Marathi, streaming on ZEE5. But what made the experience truly special was the way everyone welcomed me and made me feel like a part of this beautiful universe.

From Gaurav, who directed the show, to Mohit, who ran the set like a well-oiled machine, to Sunil, who produced it with such efficiency, and, of course, the wonderful actors I can’t possibly name here because there are just too many of you. And honestly, I wouldn’t be able to tag all of you either. But please know that every single one of you has a very special place in my heart.

I came in to play a sleazy boss, but somewhere along the way, I ended up becoming a human being who felt that he needed this bunch of people more than he realised.

Love you all.

And a huge shoutout to the soul of our show, our director saab, Gaurav. Despite an incredibly difficult schedule, you were always present and somehow made everything happen with such ease and organicity. No actor can truly stand strong in their character without the trust and vision of a director.

Gaurav, you are truly gifted.

Here’s to good vibes, beautiful people, and carrying this wonderful energy into all the good things that lie ahead.

Love and only love. ❤️

Dearest Jahnavi,

I don’t even have a proper photograph with you, other than this one where Sid, you and I somehow make this odd little group. But nevertheless, this one comes from the heart.

You are a wonderful actor, and it has truly been a privilege working alongside you. I only wish I had been more loving towards you as my character. But what to do… the actor does what is written on the paper.

But trust me, if I were to look beyond my character and all the horrible things I conspire against you, you are as skilled as anyone I have ever had the privilege of working with.

This is an old kind of post — one photograph and a long caption that is far too personal. But perhaps that’s exactly how it should be.

Thank you for everything, and most importantly, thank you for your kindness.

Fly high, Janhavi. The world is your oyster, and you are only just beginning to discover how far you can go.

Regards,
Namit

Dear Sid,

This comes as a long-forgotten answer to the lovely letter you wrote to me on my final day, when I finished Premala: Conditions Apply. I just decided to make this affection public.

I had a ball of a time working with you, my dear friend. You are so giving. You are so lovable. And all the scenes we did together just moved like free-flowing water.

A lot of people say that you are “too” nice a guy. But let me tell you, my friend… the world we live in is simply bored of goodness. They find it mundane. But I see it differently.

You are just a guy who knows what it means to be hurt, and you don’t want other people to feel what you felt when you experienced hurt or loneliness.

I feel you, Sid. And I love you.

Here’s to more projects, more stories, and more things we create together in the future.

Be you. Be the best.

Love, and only love,
Namit
