Come on a lap with me at the majestic Watkins Glen! This wasn’t the fastest lap of the weekend, but was still a respectable 2:09.7. Later in this session I’d go on to hit a 2:09.1, but the GoPro died 🥲If anyone knows how to get the hazards to stop coming on after running over the serrated kerbs.. please help a brother out, it’s very distracting lol

After watching it back, there’s still so much improvement to be made here. I plan to head back to the Glen with better weather and bring this hunk of metal OFFICIALLY into the 2:08s or even the 2:07s🙏🏼🙏🏼

🥶This weather has me missing the warmth of a mid-summer track day!!

Come with me on a warm-up lap and—what would be 2 push laps if my GoPro didn’t die—at the majestic @njmotorsportspark lol! This is one of my favorite local tracks! Can’t wait to hit the track again this year and go even faster!

For reference, the warm-up lap was a 1:30.8X, followed by a 1:29.72, then a 1:29.56 (PB for the day). I’m really bummed the GoPro died on my fastest lap, but still excited that I’m on the cusp of 28’s!

All this MiataCon content has me missing good ‘ol @limerockpark So here’s a lap from earlier this season that I’m somewhat proud of, despite managing a few car issues here and there😅 The tires were fairly cycled out this point and had roughly 8 or 9 DE days on them, 5th gear was problematic to engage sometimes, but the worst offender was the front left tire developing a leak during the first session. Even with plenty air before the session, by about lap 3-4, pressures would be well into the low 20’s. It ended my day early, couldn’t get much confidence, but I was still able to manage a 59.6. My plan is to go back with a fresh set of rubber and half decent weather and do my best to finally crack the 58’s! Wish me luck! 😂😂 by @nando_514

Sooo I’ve learned the NASCAR line is frowned upon😅 but here’s a lap from our adventures @wgi1948 with @masstuning. Had an amazing time with the friends and family who came along for the ride! It was a cold and damp day in Finger Lakes region of upstate NY. Barely cracking over 40°, with on-and-off rain made it that I couldn’t push outright. Despite this, I still think it was a half decent lap, hope you guys enjoy! taken in Watkins Glen International by @nando_514

This is what it’s all about for me! It wasn’t the fastest lap of the day, but it’s the one I remembered most. A lap filled with “drama” but still positioning the car in a way to hustle to the next corner!

A micro rear lock up going into T1 causing me to run slightly wide of the apex, feeling the grip through 2-3 after a Subaru exploded the session prior, dancing the car over the blind crest and even an off track (1x) mixed in there too! It was a fun and memorable lap from a favorable unseasonably warm late-October day with @kcpaulino.photography and @therealmoehpde and NJMP Lightning!

In lieu of all the Petit Le Mans highlights I've been seeing, here's some reminiscing of our visit down to @roadatlanta earlier this year. It was my very first track day with this car, so please forgive my timidity on braking😖 Can't wait to get back on track this weekend! Stay tuned for that footage, should be epic!
