Every brand professional knows the meeting moment: you present a number, and someone senior asks, “where did that come from?” Here’s how to never be caught flat:

1. Lead with the source, not the stat. “Across 312 mentions this week...” earns trust before the number lands.

2. Make it clickable. If you can open the underlying posts on the spot, the question dissolves.

3. Show the trend, not just the snapshot. One number is an opinion; a line is evidence.

4. Separate volume from sentiment. Conflating them is how credibility dies.

The meta-point: defensibility is a feature you build before the meeting, not a save you improvise during it. It’s why we made citations non-negotiable in Naradai.

We could have launched Naradai in English to a global audience. We deliberately chose Indonesian brands first.

Three reasons:

1. The conversation here is uniquely multi-platform and informal — WhatsApp, TikTok, IG, local forums. Tools built for Western media miss most of it.

2. The practitioner is underserved. Enterprise tools are priced out of reach; the brand manager is left with screenshots. That gap is the opportunity.

3. We’re from here. We understand the nuance, the language, the way a complaint actually spreads in this market.

Local depth beats global breadth — at least at the start. Build where you have an unfair advantage.

Where’s your unfair advantage?

A weekly brand review should take 15 minutes. Here’s the agenda that makes that possible:

Min 0–3: The number. SOV and sentiment vs last week. Up or down?
Min 3–7: The why. Which posts/articles drove the change? (cited)
Min 7–11: The risks. Any alerts that need a human this week?
Min 11–15: The move. One action. Assign it. Done.

The reason most reviews bloat to an hour: people spend the first 45 minutes assembling the data instead of discussing it.

When the cited report is already in your inbox, you skip straight to the conversation that matters.

Steal this agenda.

New series: The Brand Brief. 📌

Every week I’ll share one real, cited insight pulled from the Indonesian brand conversation — the kind of thing Naradai surfaces automatically.

Brief #1: This week, FMCG industry saw a notable sentiment shift driven less by the brands themselves and more by creators reacting to a single campaign. The lesson that keeps repeating: your brand narrative is increasingly written in other people’s comment sections, not your own.

The teams winning right now aren’t the loudest. They’re the fastest to notice and respond.

Insight generated and cited by Naradai. Want this for your brand every week?

Share of Voice (SOV) gets quoted in every marketing meeting and understood in almost none. Quick, honest primer:

What it is: your brand’s slice of the total conversation in your category.

Why it matters: it’s a leading indicator. SOV tends to move before market share does — rising SOV often predicts growth; falling SOV is an early warning.

Where teams go wrong:
— Measuring volume without sentiment (loud ≠ loved)
— Picking the wrong competitor set
— Counting mentions they can’t verify

Done right, SOV is the single best one-number answer to “how are we doing?” — which is exactly why it’s the default KPI we onboard Naradai users to.

Four days into general availability and the first Naradai weekly reports are being forwarded — by our users, to their leadership, unedited.

That’s the whole thesis in one sentence. We didn’t build a tool you log into. We built a report you’re proud to send up the chain, because every claim in it holds up to “says who?”

When the practitioner looks sharper in front of their CMO, the product is working. Early, but exactly the signal we wanted.

If you’re running a brand in Indonesia and haven’t tried it: link in comments.

The cheapest brand crisis is the one you catch at 40 mentions instead of 40,000.

Most reputational damage isn’t sudden — it’s a small complaint that found an audience while everyone was asleep or in meetings. By the time it’s in the boss’s WhatsApp, it’s expensive.

This is the unglamorous, highest-ROI use of brand intelligence: an alert that fires while the problem is still small enough for one good reply to fix.

Naradai’s alerts are built for exactly this moment — not the dashboard you check when you remember to, but the ping that reaches you when it matters.

What’s a moment you wish you’d caught earlier?

If you’re setting up brand monitoring for the first time, the mistake is tracking everything. You drown, you disengage, you cancel.

Start with ONE KPI that maps to a real decision:

— Share of Voice → are we in the conversation vs competitors?
— Net Sentiment → is the conversation helping or hurting us?
— Response SLA → how fast do we catch the things that need a reply?

Pick the one your boss actually asks about. Master it. Add the rest later.

In Naradai, one KPI + one alert is the whole first-week setup — and the single best predictor that a team sticks. We built onboarding around exactly that.

2. Get your first cited weekly report
3. Turn on alerts for spikes, complaints, and competitor moves
4. Forward a report to leadership without editing it
5. Top up credits when you need more depth

You don’t need a data team. You don’t need a procurement cycle. You need 10 minutes.

Naradai is an AI agent that monitors your brand across social and media, and hands you a cited weekly report — every claim linked to its source.

Who it’s for: brand, comms, social, and PR teams in Indonesia who are tired of building the same report by hand and defending numbers they can’t trace.

Why it matters — most powerful brand tools are priced for enterprise procurement: annual contracts, corporate cards, three approvals before you can try anything. The practitioner who actually needs the tool can’t buy it.

What you get:
— Continuous monitoring across platforms
— A written weekly report, not just a dashboard
— KPIs and alerts that tell you what needs a human today
— Citations on everything

We built this for the person doing the work. Today it’s yours: http://itsnaradai.com

If this resonates, a like or share genuinely helps a small Indonesian team reach the people who need it.

Your team doesn’t need another dashboard. It needs a decision.

Dashboards put the analysis work on you: log in, filter, interpret, screenshot, explain. The insight is in there somewhere — you just have to dig it out every single time.

A report inverts that. The thinking is already done and defensible. You read it, you act, you forward it up.

Naradai is built around the report, not the dashboard — because leadership reads reports, not dashboards.

Here’s what Naradai hands a brand team every Monday morning 👇 (sample attached)

It’s not a dashboard you have to interpret. It’s a written report:
— Your top KPIs vs last week
— What moved, and why, with the posts that drove it
— Alerts on anything that needs a human today
— Every single claim linked to its source

The goal: you forward it to leadership without editing a thing, and you look sharper for it.
