POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Our little film has taken its first step into the world. ❤️🎬 So happy to share that Finding Awesome has been Officially Selected for the 16th CMS International Children’s Film Festival 2027.

Inspired by a true story, this film began with something that stayed with Varun and me: a little girl who refused to let a diagnosis define her.
A diagnosis may tell you what you have. It doesn’t have to decide who you are. That has always been the heart of Finding Awesome, and it feels especially meaningful that one of its first homes will be a festival created for young audiences. ❤️

Varun and I are incredibly proud to have produced this film together alongside some truly special people.

Sameer, our problem-solver through it all, thank you for always finding a way.
Marc, thank you for directing Evie’s world with such heart and sensitivity.
Narjes, a very dear friend and brilliant DOP, your creativity elevated every frame.
Yusuf, my brother from another mother and our wonderful editor, thank you for finding the emotion and rhythm that brought the story so beautifully together.
And to Enrico and Amanda, thank you for your support and belief in the film.
To Maisie, our incredible cast and every member of our crew, thank you for giving Finding Awesome your talent and heart.

This first little milestone belongs to all of us. Our first laurel. ❤️ And the beginning of Finding Awesome’s festival journey. ✨

We are thrilled to announce the trailer for our new project “untouched”.

Brendan’s marriage is quietly falling apart. Craving intimacy, he enters a VR world looking for someone to talk to but is matched with Summer, a femme-fatale party girl who eats men like him for breakfast…
Untouched is a story about lonely people seeking connection anywhere except the place they’re most afraid to look.

We are incredibly excited to show this project to the world, more announcements coming very soon #shortfilm #filmmaking #film #production by @narjesg

Emi in London 🌆

When I met Emi a couple of months ago all I knew was she’s a very quiet Italian who doesn’t drink coffee, lives in Berlin, and is learning arabic.

Last month, she had the honour of being my flatmate for a few weeks, 😋 and I saw the crazy side of her. She sung “happy birthday” in Arabic for me, with some form of dance she calls belly dancing and got mochi ice cream instead of cake. She’ll secretly be recording your goofy moments on camera and it’s too late by the time you realise. I do that to my friends and I now realise why they don’t like it. 🥲 We cooked together, watched two unfinished movies, she managed me make me laugh until my stomach hurt, and also brought 🌻 🌻 🌻 home.
We had an amazing time, spoke about life and career, and you know how intense those conversations can get. I made a new friend for life and most importantly met someone with a kind heart which we need most in today’s world. 🫂

Trust her, she’s an engineer. 🤓
