I met @nate.slaughter on a set when I was getting my MFA at @newyorkfilmacademy back in 2019. I watched not only how he walked into a role but how he carried himself out of it, immediately I knew he was an actor that I wanted to write for. Now, we're in the rewriting stage for Close Quarters and I'm very blessed to be working with not only a peer but a bro, on and off camera. His character is one of my favorites to explore hands down, haha! I mean, who doesn't like a good villain? taken in Downtown Los Angeles by @nate.slaughter

I saw true beauty.

September 7th.

Sunshine rain.

A double rainbow. Which felt like a gift.

The most beautiful clouds.

A breathtaking sunset…

Most of the time rain ruins a Birthday, but the rain made this one much more beautiful and divine.

Fun fact: I actually enjoy shooting BTS a lot because those in between moments you just can’t get from a planned shoot .. also it’s low pressure , I get to be a fly on the wall and just float most times. And the subjects aren’t usually nervous because the shots aren’t planned ahead of time!

One of my fav ways to get organic , candid photos!

Nate has been added to the cast of Neighborhood Watch: Inglewood!

Nate is no stranger to acting, whether it be on-screen or on-stage. As an educator by day and a thespian by craft, Nate is truly a gem.

‘Love’s Testimony’

In the World of Theatre, it always comes together. One of the best collaborative art forms.

Gotta Love theatre. 💛

It was fun playing a playa like Zack 😌

Wigs were snatched 😆

And the proceeds supports the Thornton/ B.T. Newman Scholarship Fund.

Thank you God. 🙏🏾 by @nate.slaughter
