POSTS STORIES REELS
Yesterday’s opening of Tosca at the Detroit Opera - Detroit Opera House was incredible! I was running around all day and if you can believe it, I did not take one single photo apart from these before the performance, not even at the beautiful Gala afterwards. I did want to share the following: I am so grateful to the staff at The Peacock Room for styling me and being so helpful when I changed my mind from a very beautiful gown to this beautiful gown I wore yesterday. I am also grateful to my hair stylist Felicia Owens at Wildflower & Company for coming in on a Sunday to help make me look the best I could look with hair and makeup. I am also eternally grateful to be healthy, the new dresses are just a bonus. by @nathaliemdoucetofficial
I am posting this because I want to express how new healthy habits have helped me through a gruelling 3 weeks of rehearsal. The health benefits have been just incredibly palpable. I have more stamina and strength than I have had in almost 20 years. This morning, after a long stretch of days playing and running around the theatre, coaching, doing my work, I could have so easily slept in, but I made my way into the gym. I want to say that when people post positive things about their health journey, it inspires me SO MUCH, and I am hoping to do the same for someone else. Down 57 pounds now, and I am not looking back. This picture is from my workout this morning, me, in my mid-fifties, no makeup and living my best healthy life. No glam, no fitting clothes. Just a woman going after her goals. I am very grateful!🙏🏻 by @nathaliemdoucetofficial
One of the many joys in my life is sharing work and being in the pit with Roberto Kalb. One in a million conductor and friend! Thank you for all you have come to mean to me, Maestro! Even on the worst of days when I am exhausted or dealing with life, you always manage to make me laugh, smile and bring out the music in my little fingers❤️❤️❤️ by @nathaliemdoucetofficial
Tech week begins…. by @nathaliemdoucetofficial
Thank you to Jacob for brightening up my day with roses in my favorite color even without knowing I needed so much cheering up, I walked into the house last night to these waiting for me. They sure helped make my work day at home more pretty today. Grateful. by @nathaliemdoucetofficial

A lovely event with the Resident Artists and Arthur White this evening at Italian American Cultural Society! A big thank you to Sandra Tornberg for having us! These artists have been bringing so much opera to so many and the have only been here less than a month! We start Tosca on Monday and on top of everything they are prepared for all their main stage assignments! So happy with this group! by @nathaliemdoucetofficial

I had an awesome day today at the University of Michigan coaching some of voice area students this morning and giving a masterclass in the afternoon! I am always so touched when singers and pianists are open to the process! I heard great talent and just had a lovely time! Thank you to Stephanie Havey for the warm invitation and to the teachers who attended and supported the class! I felt very welcomed! A special thank you to Katrina Fasulo and Arthur White for attending and to Grace, Aurelien and Travis for being there and sacrificing their only day off! And, of course, Jacob Lalkens for the photos! My cup is full! ❤️ @umichvoice @umichcollabs by @nathaliemdoucetofficial

From our dress rehearsal for Detroit StoryFest this afternoon… I think there is still a chance to get to the Detroit Opera House to see this very special event. So proud to play with Madison Montambault! by @nathaliemdoucetofficial
