Our latest creation, What Slept Beneath Tarvos, is officially out now. Really proud of this one. - I took the helm on the opening, closing, and interlude tracks, handling the composing, voice acting, sound design/production, and mixing. I wanted the opening track to act as a prelude for the rest of the story. Musically, it’s depicting a serene world slowly being corrupted and destroyed by an evil. The dialogue parallels this by depicting the specific experience of some people on the world. The final song, Calm and Disquiet, was a single take performance on the piano. Super organic and pure. It was a really special moment. I was expressing the feeling of desolation and cruel silence that can be experienced with nature and the persistence of time. - I handled the creative direction on the logo for the release as well. Our good friend Frankie did an absolutely beautiful job bringing the concept to life. I wanted the logo to exist as its own letterform, but have the ability to evolve into a more death metal look. In keeping with the sci-fi nature of the album, I wanted the ornamentation to resemble digital PCB elements rather than the more organic conventions of a standard death metal look. Frankie took my initial design and made it something undeniable. - My goal with this record was to prioritize cohesion and a holistic approach to album structure and design. Im very happy with what I learned through the process, and excited for what I can carry forward into future projects. Everyone gave their all on the album- from the songwriting to the rollout. We’re heading out on tour next week- lots of time and work has been invested in the production there as well. See you out there. Thank you for reading. by @nathan.kane

You can dream a little dream or you can live a little dream. I’d rather live it, cause dreamers always chase but never get it. by @nathan.kane
