Feature Friday! Nathan Fort

Hey everyone my name is Nathan Fort and I’m a Public Moitvational Speaker and the Park Superintendent for one of the amazing Arkansas State Parks, Daisy State Park. Parks and recreation- especially the outdoors provides an experience for everyone to be a part of something greater involving the air we breathe, the land we walk on, and the resources we use. My experience with the outdoors for over ten years has been engulfed in creating safe spaces for all people including the LGBTQ+ community. Providing safe and purposeful outdoor spaces for our community is vital as it becomes a way for increased emotional and mental stability to help not only one another, but ourselves with a simple hike, a paddle on a canoe, or even a smile on top of a mountain!

Turning 32 means missing a train in Connecticut and having to Uber to Rhode Island so your luggage doesn’t end up in Canada 🎉🫠
