Cousins Camp year 2! I never take enough pictures😅 but we had the best weekend at Daisy State Park!! They always have the best programs and the CLEANEST park I’ve ever been to! Went on a bald eagle boat tour, enjoyed the beautiful lake and of course a bat hike. Already looking forward to next year 🏕️🦇🦅🌞

Feature Friday! Nathan Fort

Hey everyone my name is Nathan Fort and I’m a Public Moitvational Speaker and the Park Superintendent for one of the amazing Arkansas State Parks, Daisy State Park. Parks and recreation- especially the outdoors provides an experience for everyone to be a part of something greater involving the air we breathe, the land we walk on, and the resources we use. My experience with the outdoors for over ten years has been engulfed in creating safe spaces for all people including the LGBTQ+ community. Providing safe and purposeful outdoor spaces for our community is vital as it becomes a way for increased emotional and mental stability to help not only one another, but ourselves with a simple hike, a paddle on a canoe, or even a smile on top of a mountain!

Important Pupdates!!!

I got puppy… and bought a new house!!!

Meet Santo, a 3 month old mini golden doodle who loves meeting all his new neighbors on walks to @cremacrema, playing fetch in his new backyard, and dashing through the house with laundry in tow.

A big shoutout to my incredible realtor who’s become a best friend, Blair @theblaircarver for helping me navigate a crazy buying process (including taking me off a ledge multiple times!) and getting me everything I dreamed of and more! And a huge thank you to Nathan @nathanbeast30 whose dog Looey is Santo’s dad, for bringing Santo to me all the way from AR and trusting me to love and raise his grandpup!

Can’t wait for this amazing new chapter in Nashville! Also, I have a guest room now so come visit!!

2024: a year of immense growth, struggles, sadness, joy, laughter, a new path in my career, new friends, a new decade of life, too many fun nights out I don’t remember, and spending everyday with my people, and a year of being an uncle 🤍 I’ll never forget you ‘24, but I’m so happy you’re in the rearview mirror!

Things might be cooling off for fall, but November is coming in hot.
