Indigeno at PWCC Parma is only one of the many independent wine fairs in Italy that we try never to miss. Pin this event for your next plan to visit Emilia-Romagna between May and June. Follow the link in our bio to read the full story. @indigeno.pwcc

The event space is easily bus-accessible from the Parma train station just outside of the city limits at the countryside event space @pwcc.pwcc PWCC owned by the @arcinazionale , an association founded in 1957 to organize behind human rights, antifascism and democracy.

Grazie to @gio_inge for organizing this event and inviting us. See you next summer!

* Correction: @cantina_rebelot is at 430-440 masl in small terraced parcels. by @nattywine

Join us for a one night take over from Brooklyn based pop up, Wineberry on June 7th. Alongside their friends at Lucio & Maximón Selections, Wineberry is serving up Appalachian inspired food, mountain cheeses, and some incredible Virginia wines!

Wineberry is an ingredient driven pop-up inspired by the foods of the Appalachian Mountains and Chesapeake Bay, run by Virginia natives, & Margot alum Ryan & Storm Moser.

Lucio is run by the Virginia born and raised cheese professional, sommelier, and cicerone Joshua Franklin. Lucio is a celebration of craft, connection, and the quiet magic of a well-made bite.

Maximón Selections is a local importer that brings artisanal products from heroic winemakers and farmers from Italy and its borders to your table. Originally started in the DMV, the team also has a close connection to the regions farmers, and producers of Virginia.

Reservations now live on Resy. by @nattywine

Next Tuesday at @junewinebk Victor and Jen will be pouring the wines from Mt. Etna’s own Brazilian vigneron @barbaraschapke for the first time in the USA! by @nattywine

🏔️ Visiting the heroic vignaioli of Valtellina above the clouds is visceral; to feel the extremity of these vineyards through your feet transforms how you taste the wines. In many cases, it’s seemingly miraculous that a vineyard can even grow in such difficult and constantly changing conditions, and can be perceived in the changes within the glass from one sip to the next.

Since our Italian office is not far away, we spend a lot of time here searching and always finding too many options to decide on. After the recent team trip, we were able to put our ducks in a row and start organizing our first regional mix shipment from Valtellina. Consider it a 5 year project in the making. Featuring foremost the inspiring work of our friend Beppe of @aziendaboffalora , we will also be highlighting a few new up and coming producers with vineyards in Teglio, Inferno and other territories to highlight the incredible diversity of Valtellina.

The three Alpine x Mediterranean vineyards of @terre_diconfine seen above can be experienced vicariously through the senses with the winemakers this evening in Baltimore, Maryland at @cookhousecafebar 6-10PM, and this Monday evening in Brooklyn, NY at @margotbrooklyn 6-10PM! by @nattywine

LABEL ARTIST FEATURE: After a few series of degrees of separation, we finally got to meet the amazing illustrator @carol.rollo while visiting our new producer partners @cantina_sa_defenza in Sardegna. Carol designs all the labels for all of Natty Wine house wines and enoteca collaborations. She lives in Cagliari and was just passing by the Sa Defenza cellar to buy wine, and gifted us with a print of the Marinferno label! È veramente un piccolo mondo. When we have a tasting room one day, this will go framed on the wall! 🍇🥲

If you're not following Carol's art, you're missing out - check it out! by @nattywine

One day in the vineyards with Janko of @kmetija.stekar always results in handfuls of vegetables and fruit. A foraging highlight from this past visit was the asparagus growing around his vineyards and wild butchers broom in the forest nearby the vineyards to make a frittata. Janko has a scatter-seed and lascia-stare approach with all of his sporadic gardens. Where he has a meticulous approach to training his vines and fruit trees, the selvatic foods growing all around the vineyards and orchards are left to natures fate. Baby arugula and spring cherries were some of the many treats we snacked on during our stay. The sheer amount of projects and experiments Janko "Hendrix" Štekar juggles peacefully with life-expertise at one time is always astounding. It's this sporadic electric guitar-solo chaos that truly expresses itself in his wines and makes them highly unique. #jankoforpresident 👀 @antrim24 by @nattywine

We missed the grape-picking in Alsace by a day due to heavy rain, but that didn’t stop us from partaking in the end-of-summer parties and such. In tandem with @domaine.muller.koeberle arrivals in the USA, the Koeberlés invited Virginia, Matt and I down to the lake for an old time all-night wild boar roast with the harvest squad and friends. While David chopped wood and basted the hog to Bad Bunny and French house music, we all carried on sharing wine near the water with new friends. All the while we dreamt of transmitting this energy when opening these bottles back home with y’all soon. Vive les vendanges! by @nattywine

Small Producer Goals: split a new cantina and harvest labor with other winemakers that work as hard as you and that always have your back. @agricola.millami and @aziendagricolabertolino got things sorted and even got themselves two cuccioli di cantina 🐾. by @nattywine

🌾 Meet Ato Spinola of @ato.wines , the newest producer on our team from Piemonte’s Gavi winemaking region.🏺Swipe for Cortese in the midst of fermentation and other ‘momenti brillanti’ at the farm and downtown in Novi Ligure.

🚢 Ato’s four biodynamic cuvées are on the way to the USA for an early spring arrival, and to introduce them to the market, he will be visiting New York from March 9th and 11th to share his wines and story. by @nattywine

‘Reaching towards to heart of the fermentation‘ and other bits of delight on day three of our euro-trip from Valle d’Aosta to Alsace via Suisse.

Merci encore to Fabien of @les_petits_riens_ for the grape-based breakfast before a long pass through the Swiss Alps. Read more about the two ha of 14 different varieties of old vines this French vigneron is working on right outside of the Aosta city limits in our upcoming newsletter.

With the objective of arriving in Alsace before nightfall, we had a tasting and vineyard visit al volo with our friend Guillaume of @domainedespetitesplanetes in Chamoson, Switzerland.

We made it two minutes early this time for our rsvp at one of our favorite spots in Colmar @lun_des_sens to be blown away by a gluten and dairy free dinner for the books. by @nattywine

Positive energy, when prioritized properly, presents itself in the final product. Anyone who’s experienced the wines of @minowash can attest to the electricity ⚡️ in each bottle, but after this recent harvest hang with Shun, the origin of that sensation was clear.
