If you ever believed showing up doesn’t matter, take a cue from the hemp industry, which organized fast in numbers and swept the capital with a unified message: Regulate, don’t ban.

Proud to stand beside the hundreds of responsible operators across the state, and grateful to every legislator and staff member who took the time to listen, as well as every individual who called, wrote letters, shared content, and showed up to have their voices heard in Raleigh today. 👏

Last slide: We lucked into the legendary fried chicken day at the Legislative Building cafeteria. It’s a Raleigh institution with a cult following, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. taken in North Carolina State Legislative Building by @nc3chamber

Enjoying talking sensible hemp policy with Mary Lynn from team of Guilford district NC State Representative @priceyharrison

Excited that representatives across party lines are open minded to regulating versus banning the industry in the state. Combined with the federal ban extension and federal rescheduling, there’s hope for a future that includes safe access for NC residents. by @nc3chamber

Washington may soon force hemp products off North Carolina shelves.

A proposed federal hemp ban could shut down small businesses and take away access to hemp products across North Carolina and other states.

If safe, regulated hemp access matters to you, now is the time to speak up.

Make the call.

We had the privilege of interviewing #northcarolina Senator Rob Lowe, Jr. on the history of legalization efforts in our state and his optimism for passing a medical program that will provide NC citizens access to plant medicine.

A big proponent of medical MJ reform, @senpaullowe believes it’s a better alternative to opioids, which have addictive properties that are plaguing the nation.

At NC3 Chamber, we’re continuing to follow developments in the state’s MJ policies, including @nc_governor Josh Stein’s newly appointed NC Advisory Council that is tasked with creating a regulatory framework by the end of 2026.

The mission of NC3 Chamber is to drive economic growth for our industry, develop the future workforce and to educate the community in an effort to break down the deep-rooted stigma and misinformation surrounding MJ in our state. taken in Winston-Salem, North Carolina by @nc3chamber
