#lexythemaltipoo and #snoweethecockapoo coached us as we played tennis. Lexy is also a good ball girl and fetches the ball.

Nice to be back on the court slowly getting my game back after having a total knee replacement. I lost the set and think the score was 6-2. 🫣😩🤦🏽‍♂️

Continuing to play-test the technifibre tf-x1 300. If you like spin oriented racquets like the Babolot Pure Aero, Head Extreme, Yonex vCore (not pictured) and the Diadem Axis (not pictured)…this is a racquet to consider. All of the mentioned racquets are some of my favorites. VCore and Pure Aero gives knuckle ball type movement, Axis hits through the ball like a freight train , Extreme delivers the power. The X1 has a unique dampening technology. by @nd.racquet.stringing

Back at it!

Been out of it for a while since standing in one place was tough. Even DJing. But then it became out of the norm to string racquets. I even strung one sitting on a tall chair at one point. Total knee replacement recovery is going well and I’m walking more normal every day and trying some hiking.

Prepping this for a player who had been using the #diademelevate v2 for some time. This one strung up with #luxilonecopower

Doing a modified around the world box pattern. Still one cross to go. Almost looked like a missed weave.

I’ve been away fr tennis for a while as i recovery from surgery. But it was an awesome experience coaching.

Group picture is fr a junior team I helped coach under the guidance of @misterjosephtennis. Aaron was the shortest in the group but all of them played with the height of a sky scraper.

Congrats to Aaron on his level 3 victory in Vegas. by @nd.racquet.stringing

Swing weight variances

1) worn grommet and frame
2) grommet removed
3) new grommet

When your racquets get worn down as such, it swings like a different racquet. The racquet with the worn down frame needed significant lead tape to bring the specs back up to the new conditioned racquets. Many don’t know that the grommets and bumpers can be replaced. It’s tough to find the replacements for older racquets so if it’s one you really like, stock up.

One night a transformer exploded and we lost electricity at @schollcanyongolfcourse but he still wanted to finish his serve drill.

Miss working with these kids and @misterjosephtennis

@yonex_com has a new multifilament coming out. It is in its final prototype stage and out for testing. Said to be low powered.

Strung it up in my #ez100 #ezone100 which is a powerful racquet. I often play with polyester strings in this racquet. Strung up really nice. The feel and feedback is great. There was initially snap back but soon it behaved like a typical multi and locked into place. Control seems very good.

Will try out some match play and serves soon. It’s an honest string so it doesn’t give anything away for free.

This #vcore100 is a spin monster of a racquet. When using it get ready to unleash some aggressive backspin drops , jumping kick serves, low driving slices, and treacherous topspin against your opponent.

Now on the other hand if you on the other side of the net against a vCore 100 player…you have been warned!

@babolat string sets come in these plastic cases and are not zip tied. You can snap open the plastic case to remove the string but I’ve had them tangle up on me often.

Instead…peel off the back panel and dig out the tail of the string and pull.

I did this while I was stringing up a couple of mid sized racquets from @headtennis_official #microgelprestige and the recent release of a classic in the form of #prestigeclassic2.0 which is a take on the #pc600
