Frog Queen, 2026
24x19"
ink and micron pen
Setlist series

(i don't just draw mosh pits :P) A crowd of people surround a drag queen riding the shoulders of a beefy masc wearing a skull-like mask and black skirt. On her knees are matching mask-like knee pads. She's wearing a short translucent cape in the style of a button blanket, trimming with fringe and has one arm out and extended over the crowd. Her hair is short and slicked back. Below her and her ride, is someone with their back turned to the viewer, displaying the frog crest on the back of their blanket. They are gesturing to a path through the crowd. The crowd is clamouring in excitement with some of them holding out tips for the performer. by @ndn_bebop

CATCH THEM!, 2026
24 x 19"
ink and micron pen on bristol board
setlist series Scene illustrated in black ink of someone stage diving into a crowd of people preparing to catch them. The singer in the image is pointing at them, making sure the audience is paying attention. On the back of one of the crowd member's jackets is a patch that reads "FIGHT PRGT, NO PIPELINES, NO MANCAMPS" A partially obscured shirt on another person reads, "2SPIRIT SUPREMACY". Another reads, "WET'SUWET'EN SOLIDARITY" The crowd looks happy and engaged. Northwest formline is used in a stylized way on the figures faces, making them appear masklike in an otherwise animated scene. by @ndn_bebop

Ꮺ 𝙒𝙝𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙃𝙖𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙣 ᝰ @ndn_bebop at Zine Harvest on October 17! ᝰ Whess is a Indigiqueer zinester who makes zines about being trans, being disabled and burnt the fuck out and generally consumed with rage against the colonial helltopia that lives around us. This zine harvest they will be harvesting the toils of their summer crash-out to create a solo art exhibition focused on manifesting the Indigenous punk venue that they’d never charge rent for in their mind onto paper. He’s at @ndn_bebop on IG or you can check out his Serious Art Work at whessharman.com Ꮺ #ZineHarvest ࿔ #Indigiqueer #IndigenousZines #queerzines taken in Sun Wah Centre by @ndn_bebop

Orchid Contemporary is excited to present “The Name Of”, a group exhibition curated by Maddie Alexander, opening Saturday September 12th, 6-8pm. The exhibition will run until October 10th.

As a culmination of the inaugural year of “The Name Of” residency, a space for Trans and Two-Spirit artists, we present to you our exhibition, hosted by Orchid Contemporary. This exhibition is curated by the residency founder, Maddie Alexander, and presents the work of 16 Trans and Two-Spirit Artists who participated in the 2026 year of the residency. This exhibition holds the collaborations and creations of these artists, after a week shared together in March of 2026 at Gibraltar Center for the Arts. Through this collaboration with Orchid Contemporary, a trans-led gallery, we present the power of giving space to trans artists to create collectively, share their own self determined spaces, and highlight the ways in which trans folks create and permeate visual culture.

Featuring the work of: Jadi Darawi, Abi Hodson, Michael David Battle, Azka, Cameron DePutter, Amir Patros, Nahrain Yousefian, Robin Alex McDonald, Shannon Sandwell, Eli Nolet, Aras Pars Aykus, Theo Donovan, Lorelei d’Andriole, riley yaxley, Whess Harman, and Aida Lodge. taken in Trans Island by @ndn_bebop

Exhibition | POTLATCH PUNK WORLD TOUR 2
Whess Harman
Artist Talk: Saturday, August 1, 11 am
June 13 – August 7, 2026

Struts Gallery is pleased to present POTLATCH PUNK WORLD TOUR 2 a new series of ink drawings by Whess Harman depicting rambunctious, crowded, sweaty mosh pits from an imagined all-Indigenous, very queer, punk venue. These works center on the importance and impermanence of rollicking, chaotic DIY spaces as places of gathering, community-based resistance and survival.

Whess Harman is a member of the Carrier Wit’at Nation, a nation amalgamated by the federal government under the Lake Babine Nation and currently resides on the traditional territories of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh peoples. He doesn’t like cops and believes in land sovereignty for Indigenous peoples all across the globe, including Palestine. In his arts practice he works primarily in drawing, text and textiles. As an independent curator and occasional editor and contributor to a variety of small publication projects, he prioritizes emerging queer and BIPOC cultural workers and artists.

Another free poster, formatted for 8.5x11. Free downloads (with separated layers for silkscreen/riso this time!) in my bio on the linktree.

Fuck ICE, obviously and fuck everyone who provides services for them. Specifically, did you know that vancouver based Hootsuite:

1. Holds contracts with ICE: "A U.S. procurement site shows the contracts, which were first reported by Business in Vancouver, are worth up to US$2.8 million.

It says the contracts started in August 2024 and are scheduled to last two years, with the possibility of a further three-year extension to August 2029."
(From CityNews, Jan 21, 2026)

2. This has been described as a "Trojan Horse Deal", that is being run through Seneca Strategic Partners, run wholly by the Seneca Nations of Indians. Shame.

3. Hootsuite is pursuing FURTHER contracts with ICE presently (Globe & Mail on Jan 20, 2026)

4. They have cancelled contracts with ICE before under pressure from employees (Globe & Mail, Sept 24, 2020); precedent that it could be done again. by @ndn_bebop
