never before and never again - my first album from 2011 “forget your future” is on vinyl as the newest 100 club limited pressing on my rec label @100percentelectronica available now! these 100 clubs are quick to sell out so dont dilly dally if you want it.

please enjoy these pics from the time i made this music - and get urself a copy of this rare album. super pretty see thru lavender.

The year was 2011 and baby Negative Gemini was unmedicated, malnourished, and literally haunted in Richmond, Virginia. Sea punk had not yet been commodified, witch house was alive and well, and we were all on Tumblr. This was my first foray into producing an album entirely on my own after my rap group ‘Les La Britanica’ fell apart and I was very sad. I held a college degree and zero prospects, no money, with zero ambitions besides making and performing music. I would say this album is quite eclectic and experimental as I was trying to find my sound, but I knew that I wanted to be more personal and authentic with this project. I think you can definitely hear seeds of what would come in my later albums on songs like “Negative Gemini” and “Slit Show”. I greatly admired the album covers that my friend Travis would make for his project Lil Ugly Mane, so I asked him to make an album cover for me and I think he captured the strange darkness of the sound very well. by @neggygemmy
