A student at Franklin High is gone and we’re getting silence instead of answers.

Our kids are watching. What does it teach them when we stop asking?

Media is how we hold systems accountable. Document. Amplify. Demand transparency.

Drop your question for Franklin leadership in the comments. We’re not moving on until we get truth.

Is MAC 10 part Mexican? Multiple sources online claim he is. I grew up in LA, And recently a source came in that said Mac 10 is Afro-Mexican. 🤯 he does have mixed features. Is It True? We did our research online and sources including Google, Chat, and web articles said it was true. No verifiable sources by Mac10 himself, only third party sources. We can’t 💯 confirm that he is, multiple sources say yes and no. But either way Mac, the Raza 🇲🇽 got love for you👊🏼. Share this video if you got love for WC

That’s why our stories matter. If we don’t tell them, they get lost.

Devin Booker grew up in Michigan and Mississippi. His dad is a Black hooper from Mississippi. His mom is Mexican-American. For most of his life, he knew he had Mexican roots, but he’d never really lived them.

Then he got drafted to Phoenix. 🌵

Surrounded by hundreds of thousands of Mexican-Americans, he started learning the culture, the food, the family history. He said it himself: it’s never too late. Some people will tell you you’re “not Mexican enough.” Not enough Spanish, not raised in the barrio, too mixed. Booker is proof that your roots don’t expire. You can claim them at any age. 💯

Did you know Book was Mexican-American? Drop a 🇲🇽 if you’re claiming yours. 👇 #devinbooker #latinos #heritagemonth by @nelatvv

Before skating had rules, Tony Alva was breaking them.

A Mexican-American kid from Santa Monica’s Dogtown, Alva rode with the Zephyr team, the Z-Boys, in the ‘70s. When drought left Southern California’s backyard pools empty, they climbed in and turned them into playgrounds. Alva flew higher and harder than anyone, launching out of the bowl and into the air. That move helped turn skating from a sidewalk hobby into the vertical, aggressive sport we know today.

In 1977 he was crowned world champion. That same year he started Alva Skates, one of the first companies owned by a skater instead of a corporation. He didn’t wait for permission. He built his own lane.

The attitude, the style, and the swagger all trace back to a Brown kid from the westside who refused to play it safe. 🛹🔥

Mahomes was PERFECT. 11 for 11. Then a Mexican American rookie linebacker said “not today.” 🇲🇽🏈

Jacob Rodriguez with a DIVING interception off a tipped ball: the first pick of his NFL career, and he took it from the best QB in the game.

This is what representation looks like on Sundays. Our people aren’t just watching the league anymore. We’re taking the ball away. 💪🏽

Drop a 🇲🇽 if you’re rocking with Rodriguez all season.

Oblivion built his whole brand on us. The Mexican pride, the Spanish shoutouts, calling himself the biggest Latino streamer. Our community watched, shared, and paid him.

Then he made a video with ICE.

That’s the same agency that’s raiding our swap meets, our car washes, and our Home Depots, and splitting up families in our neighborhoods right now.

You don’t get to profit off la raza and then make content for the people hunting them down. That’s not “just content.” That’s choosing a side.

Clout isn’t worth your people. Shameful.

Where do you stand? 👇

This is what Black and Brown creativity looks like when cultures are celebrated, not exploited. 🔥

Director Von Harris @vonharrisproductions created this powerful visual for Hispanic Heritage Month, blending Mexican tradition, movement, fashion and pride into something that feels cinematic as hell.

Much respect to Von Harris for honoring our culture and showing what’s possible when Black and Brown artists create together. 🇲🇽🤎✊🏾

Latin Active” by A Lighter Shade of Brown, the Riverside duo ODM and DTTX, featuring Shiro Stokes on the hook and Teardrop on the mic, going back and forth in English and Spanish like every kid in SoCal did at home.

It was the lead single off Brown & Proud, and it hit the Billboard Hot 100. It played at every house party, every school dance, every Saturday night cruise.

But here’s what most people don’t know 👀
In the original version, Teardrop proudly called herself CHICANA. When it dropped as a single, that word got changed to “Latina.”

One word. Think about why somebody thought that needed changing. 🤔

This song was proof that Black and Brown kids grew up side by side: same neighborhoods, same schools, same dance floors, same music. We always ran together. 🤝🏽

Rest in power, DTTX. 🙏🏽 by @nelatvv
