I had the absolute best time Friday night. If you know me at all you'd know I have a massive obsession with Twilight and have since Twilight, the book, was released right after my daughter was born. 21 years y'all!! It's been a very very long day. Today just doesn't seem real. Three years my Mom's been gone. I heard about Dolly and immediately wanted to tell her. That fucking HURT. That immediate thought to tell her something. Like her only Granddaughter started her Senior year of college yesterday. Grief sucks y'all. I hope my momma met her with a crowd of people at the gates because they both believed it.

This is why I have a love/hate relationship with Blind date books. It's labeled Paranormal Romance wity Tropes Forbidden Romance, revenge & secrets and found family.

This is not in fact a Paranormal Romance. It's Romantasy. Which means it's not standalone, the story isn't finished with 1 book. And there are 3 possible heroes.

Also the closed door romance should be listed.

As a booksragrammer/book blogger for almost 10 years and a Romance reader for over 30 (I started really young ok!!) it's disappointing that booksellers seem to get this wrong 80%of the time.

Anyone else have a similar opinion? Or am I wrong in this? I'm open to all opinons as long as they're respectful.

* I kept the book store untagged/ shown out of respect. They aren't the only one's whom I've had blind date issues with.

* Book in question is Wicked Onyx by Debbie Cassidy ( nothing I've said is negative about this book, I obviously haven't read it as Love triangles or squares or whatever isn't for me) give me a poly book all day long though. by @nellesnightstand
