completed my yoga teacher training program. i laugh because i've envisioned a bunch of my own beautiful plans for life and the journey has a constant way of shaping that catches me off guard, scares the shit out of me, and then becomes bigger and more beautiful than the original plan. thankful to all the beautiful souls i never expected to connect with, y'all have an engraved space in my heart. love and respect to my mentors @fenomlaw, @texalli, @zen_fit_yoga, along with all the amazing teachers at the @bumblebeeyogacommunity 🐝🌱. also fucking shout out to me. i've grown to not deny myself love, be gentle with me as i would a baby or house guest, and validate myself, i'm so proud of nerissa. 🌸 #yttgraduation taken in Fort Worth, Texas by @nerissa__james

Used our free will and came outside 🌸 My non profit work with @fullcirclebasketballtx gives us room to serve our community in different ways. Thank you @theryanfamilyymca for letting us shut down the parking lot and allowing space for community to slow down together. And @bumblebeeyogacommunity I’m taking what I’ve learned with me wherever I go. My husband celebrated 40 years, our nonprofit celebrated 1 year, and we've been here 8 years in Fort Worth. What stands out is the community, friends, brothers and sisters we've connected with on this journey. Thank y'all for adopting us 😅

My favorite part of this ALL is being a witness. Seeing my husband and everyone around us operate in their gifts and making impact where they can.

40 is just the beginning. And the thing about a circle, is that it never stops. Round and round it goes. I can only imagine the beautiful things he'll fill it with 🌱

I have to go now because I've been ignoring his texts to make this post 😊
