Casting for an unapologetic comedy about love. Actors should be comfortable on camera or with a live audience.

Great if you're coming to the table with a broken heart, and even better if you did the breaking. All sizes, because everybody deserves love. Not all ages because this is a grown folks story.

When @loripratico told me she had been inspired by a video of me, she also warned me that the face she painted wasn't perfect.

I was so grateful for that gift. What beauty had she perceived in the moment before I would say something? As a speaker, I have so many pictures of myself mid thought.

Love posed photos, but there's something about the rich storytelling that an expressive face can communicate.

Summer is a very special time for me. Leo season is loading, y'all. I am usually doing all the things, but this summer, I'm listening. To me!🎉😍

Much of what I've done over the last 30 years was sculpted through the lens of emotional and physical survival. We pass those practices along to the next generation like it's normal to fight for your life.

In nature, 90% of the time is spent just being. Literally, plants turn toward the sun, butterflies fly around and Egyptian geese mate. Even in "the jungle", animals don't spend their lives in turmoil with each other. Lions grab one animal to eat and sit- the gazelles aren't living in terror for the entire day.

Death isn't always around the corner. So why is survival constantly on the mind?

Sit still long enough to see what time you've lost .. So you don't lose anymore. I have had some of the most nourishing and revelatory conversations in the last year and it's because survival is no longer a daily concern: telling the TRUTH is.

Stop trying to fix things when you don't know the truth about what you're looking at. You are such an incredible miracle of serendipity and purpose that it takes a whole lifetime to understand yourself. Get up out of the delusions you created to soothe yourself away from the Truth.

You're not lazy. You're mentally and physically exhausted.
You're not anxious. You're sensitive to what's really going on.
You're not alone. You're focused on the wrong people.

But you won't know that until you care for yourself.

Unclench your jaw, drop your shoulders and go love on yourself.

I can love myself fully, and still accept that I'm always doing way too much.

Like, you didn't ask me for help but here I go trying to control things. Like, I do not know how all of those hair products are still on the bathroom counter after I swore I put them away. Like, I do not know how to say no to a french fry.

But this flawed human right here? I'm incredible. And I'm still worthy of great human companionship, healthy family, a thriving business, and a community that flourishes.

Friends, I wish we would stop trying to earn love and quit passing that lie to our children.

Respect is earned, not love.

We do have to work, build character, get used to failure and embody discipline. But love just is. If they build their character from a place of self love, they won't have that rage and resentment if they experience "disrespect". But if you don't love yourself, disrespect is a doorway to self-destruction.

They tell you all the time to "surrender", but what does that mean?

For those of us used to being the driver, letting go of the wheel is dangerous. You can't risk the damage it could do to your life or those you care about.

So what if you got into someone else's car?

Can you imagine that you're in the car of someone who cares for you?

When you build a relationship with your intuition, it becomes the driver. You'll know you're there because there's a sense of peace, and joy is less of an event and more of a presence.

I hope you are open to being in that precious relationship.

Breathe.
Stop looking around you.
Let go of what's behind you.
And focus on what's ahead.
