✨ The Court of Fire and Fangs is now open ✨

I've been waiting soooo long to say this!

If you’d like to be first to see character art (I get way too excited to wait too long), plus mythology-inspired lore and behind-the-scenes updates from my African-inspired vampire romantasy 📖 A Crown of Fire and Fangs, you can now join the court. (By that I mean you can sign up to the newsletter :)

I only send emails once a month, just carefully chosen updates that I’m excited to share. It's completely free and you can unsubscribe anytime. If there’s ever big news or a milestone, you might get a surprise email or two👀

Join the court and help build this story with me.

I've got some fun 'court things' lined up, and I can’t wait to welcome you.

I4 years!

I almost gave up, but remembered, this was never about validation, just my love and joy of writing.

The past 14 years have been quite something, and if you'd told me then where I'd be today, I probably would have given up for real. I pursued traditional publishing for a long time, and came very close but not close enough.

Now I'm in the middle with a solid Plan B if Plan A fails and excited about it. I don't worry about rejections anymore, because I read somewhere that every rejection is a redirection and I'm exactly where I need to be right now.

Fingers crossed xx

Hey,

I’m Nessa Haddow a romance + romantasy writer.

This page is still quite new so thought it best to reintroduce myself.

Everything I write is inspired by love, my background and my upbringing. My name tells part of that story too and carries the heart of my stories - more on that later.

I have 9 manuscripts written. Some are going through massive edits and rewrites, but some are ready to find their way to you.

Happy you found me.

Let me know in the comments which genre of romance you prefer.

How do you find time to write and do everything else that needs your attention?

Today's journal is all about time... and housework 👀
Seriously, I can't keep up with both. If I choose one the other suffers... solutions please! 💕

Have a great Monday!

A new Sunday series 🤎

I've shared a bit about 📖 A Crown of Fire and Fangs for a few months, and I thought it'd be nice to document what happens next.

Some of you have asked when the story will be published, and though I have an idea of the date, I have so much to do before the story is released so I need to make sure I can meet that date before I announce.

So instead of keeping you guessing where we are, I shall be sharing the highs, lows and in-betweens of moving from manuscript to finished book. This will include the exciting and boring parts (sorry) and also things I learn along the way.

So here's Chapter 1 - Path to Publication

Until next Sunday,
Nessa
