Happy Fri-YAYYEEE!! Although it’s almost over, it’s about the time for another drop in the #fangirlfriday #series where I highlight all things #bookish , author-related, story-related, and more! This week, I am spotlighting five lovely authors with upcoming releases and WIPs in the fantasy/#romantasy genres. 🧚🏽✨🤗

My love for this genre runs super deep, and I’m thrilled to present some authors (both soon to be published and rising) that deserve all the praise and shoutouts. Here they are, along with some additional facts related to their short-term and long-term goals, listed in order ❤️:

1) @ttasantewaa.author : “My goal is to become an indie author so I can share my work with the world. I cannot recall precisely what inspired me to write as a child, only that I have always loved the written word. Today I am inspired by many things, mostly my travels and the beautiful scenery I love to capture and describe.”

2) @jnealwrites : “I would like to get VM into as many hands as I can, and finish book 2 ASAP. Career-goals: I would love to reach a point where I am able to make a living writing and doing it full-time!”

3) @nessahaddow : “My long-term goal is to write full-time. I have nine completed manuscripts on my laptop, covering YA, contemporary romance, and romantasy. For now, I’m putting all my energy to my African romantasy, as it’s my passion, but I hope to share my other stories in the future.”

4) @fallingstarswriting : “My goal is to finish the rewrite of mine and my co-authors current science fantasy book before the end of the summer. In the long term, I really dream of writing books that touch someone’s heart and reminds them of the enduring hope that comes with our humanity.”

5) @iama.c.young : “See my book on Indie Bookshelves and Readers; Grow my community to 5,000+; Sell 5,000+ volumes of Black Falls by July 2027 (biggie biggie goal I know 🤣)”

I’d like to think there is no such thing as dreaming too big when it comes to your goals, especially when you’re a writer with very large stories to tell as the world so desperately needs new tales far and wide. Wishing these lovelies very much success and looking forward to their stories! #fantasyauthors
