Mom
Mama dearest,
Coly Custard
Twin

I still am just in total shock….it feels like I’m in a bad dream and I cannot wake up from it. I have to accept that you’re not here and have moved onto Zion with our family that has gone before us. I am still in total shock but I know that you’re not suffering anymore. I know that you’re in a better place and I know that you’re still around watching your children, your grandchildren, and family and friends as we hold onto all the memories we share, all the things that I’ve learned and been blessed by you, like how to cook really well, understanding that you can be vegetarian and still make and eat really great food, learning to be an entrepreneur like yourself.
From my love of crystals and learning from you, your knowledge of spirituality to astrology to zodiac and Ayurvedic , and to be confident in who you are and to stand up for yourself and be who you’re meant to be and never compromise that, but at the same time to be able to show empathy and for me to embrace my sensitive nature. Will miss you dearly, Mom. I will always remind Lola about you. Tell her stories and share what a wonderful grandmother and person you were. It’s going to be a hard journey without you here, but I will always keep you in my heart and in my prayers. I love you so much, Mom. I know you’re not suffering anymore and I can live with knowing your pain-free and with our loved ones. by @nestagarrick

2024 Recap Kes - IZ WE 2024 Trinidad. It’s always a pleasure working with @kesthebandofficial and @curtiscreams_. Some of the best and kindest people to work with. For this project, I was the creative director, co-production designer, and lighting director for this event. Unfortunately, I was not able to stay for the actual show, but @g.fleming264, representing for RAS Visuals, held it down for me and did a great job, and Boodoo, you are a boss. Nuff respect. by @nestagarrick

2024 Recap @marleybrothers Tour. This tour I came in as the creative director, production design, lighting designer, video content and programmer but most importantly to represent for @nevillegarrick. This was the first Marley Brothers show I worked on with not having his input during the process. For sure was an emotional journey but I’m very proud of this project and trying to create how I think my father would want the show to look if he was the lighting designer like he was for @bobmarley. I couldn’t have done this with out @stephenmarley creative input, partner in crime @veerdhaniram , @banditlites , the entire band and crew and of course the brothers for trusting me and my mental state to do this project. Thank you. by @nestagarrick

2024 Recap @victoriamonet . Well I always wanted to do lighting that included a lot of different solo spots, dancing, theatrics and for sure I got my wish working with the talented @victoriamonet. Thank you @alexnrivas for bringing me on as the lighting director for her shows and to finally work at @essencefest. This relationship has grown to more than I expected and I’m truly grateful. by @nestagarrick

2024 Recap @stickfiguremusic …First off thank thank thank you for trusting me with all the positions I had for this tour and the unlimited creative freedom. Working on this project allowed me to put myself in a very experimental creative space as not only the creative director but lighting, video, SFX, pyro programmer & lighting director. To be honest wouldn’t not be able to do this with out the trust of Scott, my crew, @banditlites , Mateo, @shvansi @zachmcqueen, @benzurpro , @michael_versteegt , @blue.lsr , Buddy, @tcussins and the list goes on. This was some hard work but was fun. by @nestagarrick
