It took me months to get my parents’ info into one place, on top of two kids, an exec role at a tech company, and an emergency rebuild of our house. 🫠

You don’t have to do it the hard way. We built the easier one.

I noticed this month that almost every Mailbox question had a little elder care in it… whether it was front and center or eventually emerged as we got into the details.

@renna_dimes and I are both in a similar season of figuring out how to balance the care across generations while building. We’ve found more relief not going at it alone.

Mine has a few things like…
🔎 evaluating HELOC options for my dad (and talking him out of it lol)
📝 translating an annuity for my mom
🤓 learning how to make a grant program
🤝 onboarding a new tax strategist

Don’t really know how to do any of these (yet!). But I know I won’t have to go at it alone this season. Will be bringing all the things to the @new_dimes coworking sessions. 🤓

THE #1 compliment I get from a stranger for a physical feature is about my hair. People will yell a sweet thing across the street at these long, thick Syrian locks.

Ever since he told me, I think of my stylist and friend of 20+ years — who runs a monthly Hair Stylist Stock Club, where stylists trade on-the-floor intel and 🤓 research notes so every one of them retires well.

No finance degrees. No advisors. Just red leather booths, filthy martinis, and a plan.

So now every compliment, I have a wee moment, and pass those blessings through as 💰💰💰🪄🪄🪄. My guy my guy my guy. I sure know how to pick ’em.
