🏅🌊HUGE CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR BUCS TEAM🌊🏅

We had a record breaking number of athletes into the later rounds of the competition.

Massive congratulations in particular to:

Sofia Culliford (2nd in category and an amazing 11th overall!)

Noah wood for making the Round 3🔥

And our top 10 in catagory winners:

Hannah Armstrong, Lottie Clark and Jessica Halliday (Women)

Tarka and Luke Ilis (men and 1st in category)

Well done to all that competed (and we beat Leeds and Sheffield on land 🍺)!!!

Hello beautiful Bobs! 🙆‍♀️💇‍♀️

We will be hosting our first Babes Out Back social this Wednesday afternoon up close and personal in one of our Bobs gardens. 🌸🌼

Meet us in the sunshine 🌞 🤞and have some pancakes, a sarnie, a drink…This will be a chance to meet your fellow women in surf and get to know the amazing ladies who help run your committee!!

More information will be shared in the Bob group chat so make sure to get your memberships by tomorrow if you are wanting to come along.

Looking forward to meeting the new and old babes (even if your a solo girlie come along! It may seem intimidating but we will make you feel very welcome😘)

UPDATED INFO FOR THE TASTER SESSIONS!!

the canceled session from this sunday has been rescheduled to next sunday at 10 am!!

Get to metro one hour before lesson, so if your lesson is at 1 meet at 12 or meet at Long Sands surf school 15 minutes before your lesson
try not to be late 🫶

MANDATORY SWIM TEST!! 🏊‍♂️🏊‍♀️

We will have more swim test opportunities in the future but if you want to get in the water asap come down to jesmond pool October 9th at 7pm!!

Even if you’ve done a swim test for another club or have a lifeguard license you’ll have to complete one with us as well!!

Super quick all you need to bring is a towel swimwear and Uni ID incase 🌊🌊🐟🐠 by @newcastle_surf

Try out our taster session!! They’re a a great opportunity to meet people and try out the sport

Members of our committee will take you from Haymarket Metro station to Longsands, where you’ll meet qualified surf instructors and all kit will be ready and waiting for you (including boards and wetsuits)

Follow the steps above to book your session! (Times and dates below, meeting at Haymarket 1 hour and 15 minutes before the session starts)
