Have you got fabric scraps or other damaged/unusable textiles you don’t know what to do with? We’re SO excited to be launching our first ever customer textile recycling project today with @fibrelab ✨

Sign up to send us your textile waste and Fibre Lab (who are close to us in Hackney) will recycle it into a zero waste 40 x 40cm cushion pad for you. They have machines that shred the fibres down to create a plush, soft filling then use damaged hotel sheets to make the outer cover. The finished cushions feel weighty and lux and are such a special item to own.

We’re currently taking bookings for the first recycling run of 50kg of waste. We have limited spots available for this first run and you do NOT need to have your scraps ready to sign up. We recommend signing up now to secure your place then just make sure you send us your scraps by the middle of November. Each person needs to send us 700g of fabric waste, and it can be made up of any fibres. We’ll send lots more details to everyone who signs up!

This weekend Hayley’s back to teach her super popular Couture Techniques class - it’s sold out but we still have spaces on the next date on Saturday 28th November. ✨

This class is perfect for intermediate/advanced sewists who want to learn some extra techniques to finish their projects beautifully. You’ll cover hand sewn button holes, cross stitched hems, hand basting, pad stitching and more. Sign up while you still can!
