Connecting collectors with exceptional art through art advisory and a curated artist platform.

My relationship with Paris goes back years. Having lived here for several years, it’s a city that shaped my eye, my love of art, and, admittedly, my weakness for beautiful things. More than anything, Paris is a city that makes me feel alive. And endlessly happy to be back.

Here, art is everywhere. Not just in museums and galleries, but in the architecture, the flea markets, the gardens, the cafés, and that unmistakably Parisian ability to make even the most ordinary things feel extraordinary.

With @artbasel returning to the Grand Palais this week, Paris is once again the center of the art world. From exhibitions not to miss to favorite neighborhood haunts, vintage treasures, and a few family traditions, go to newcube.art to see how I’ll be spending Paris art week. taken in Paris, France by @newcube.art

A cocktail evening celebrating two London-based artists during Frieze week.

@cecephilips is a London-based painter whose luminous compositions explore spectatorship and voyeurism.

Embodying the spirit of the flâneuse, she draws on the archive, film stills, found imagery and memory, weaving historical and contemporary influences together to interrogate interiority, desire and loneliness.

@hamishpearch is a London-based artist working across sculpture, installation, drawing and sound.

Drawn to the contradictions within everyday materials and natural phenomena, he shapes his work around these tensions to explore how space, form and perception intersect, probing the fluidity between the man-made and the natural.

With both artists presenting exhibitions during Frieze London this week, we were delighted to bring their worlds together for an intimate celebration of art and creativity, co-hosted by @ireneforte, @cecilion of @unemployed.agency, and @bibzzzi of @newcube.art.

A beautiful morning at @theroofgardens in London, where @newcube.art and @marcusbarnettstudio came together during Frieze Week to celebrate creativity, beauty, and the connections between art, nature, and design.

A meeting of two worlds, brought together by a shared appreciation for thoughtful spaces, inspiring conversations, and meaningful connections.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, and to our wonderful co-hosts at @marcusbarnettstudio for making it such a special morning.

Collector Spotlight: Maria Sukkar

With Frieze London on the horizon, we're spotlighting one of the city's own — Maria Sukkar, whose collection is one of the most respected in contemporary art.

Her collecting story is rooted in iconic London classics — artists like Sarah Lucas were part of the collection's early foundations — but her eye has never stopped there. Sukkar's collection spans geographies and generations, and her long-standing work championing Lebanese artists and serving on Tate's Middle Eastern Acquisitions Committee reflects a genuinely global outlook.

That's what makes her collection so quintessentially London: rooted here, but always looking outward. It's exactly the kind of local-meets-international spirit that makes this city's art world what it is.

While we can’t believe it’s nearly October, we’re starting strong with the city guides for this year’s fair season: London. What we love most about London is that it holds the medieval and the ultra-contemporary in the same breath. Home to Turner, Bacon, Emin, and now generations of artists who’ve made this city their own, London doesn’t choose between its past and its present; it continues building on both.

Introducing new newcube artist, Justin Cole.

Cole (b. 1995) creates paintings that are emotionally stimulating rather than stringently narrative. His work touches on the human condition, levels of consciousness, and death. He illustrates these themes through a unique combination of classical realism and abstract expressionism.

Restraint and intentionality are at the core of Cole’s work. His paintings almost exclusively focus on one subject, keeping the narrative contained. The palette is refined, and the composition is simple yet effective. There are no distractions; the most compelling elements reveal themselves through subtlety. The longer you spend with the paintings, the more their depth and complexity begin to unfold.

Do not miss: Do Ho Suh in Seoul.

Do Ho Suh (@dohosuhstudio) has brought over 500 works to MMCA Seoul (mmcakorea), spanning three decades of a practice that has quietly become one of the most emotionally resonant of our time. Known for his extraordinary fabric architecture installations: translucent, life-size reconstructions of the homes he has lived in, Suh's work is ultimately about what it means to carry a place with you, and what we lose and hold onto in the act of moving through the world.

The exhibition brings together the full sweep of his career: the shimmering Some/One (2001), a hollow robe assembled from military dog tags made during his mandatory service; Floor (2001), his Venice Biennale piece where thousands of tiny plastic figures bear the weight of the audience above; and the immersive fabric installations that made his name. A new work, Memory of Love (2026), debuts here too.

The tension between the individual and the collective has always been at the heart of Suh's work. Seen in Seoul, it lands differently. On view until 9 February 2027. by @newcube.art

An Artist On Our Minds.

Debra Cartwright (@debcartwright) works across painting, mixed media, and collage to explore the relationship between the Black female body and American medical history: themes of re-embodiment, myth creation, intimacy, and violence woven together into something urgent, layered, and impossible to look away from.

Her work is feeling especially topical as of late. There is something important about collecting artists who hold a mirror to the political moment, whose work doesn't just reflect the world but holds its narratives accountable. We are proud to have placed her work in private collections, and hope it's impact continues to lives beyond the wall it hangs on. by @newcube.art

Antwerp’s H House by Nicolas Schuybroek is space defined by restraint, tactile materials, and a minimalist sophistication that highlights the synergy between great art and clean architecture. The best collector's homes are exactly that: considered rather than decorated, accumulated rather than installed. Art not as an afterthought, but as the whole point.
