A beautiful morning at @theroofgardens in London, where @newcube.art and @marcusbarnettstudio came together during Frieze Week to celebrate creativity, beauty, and the connections between art, nature, and design.

A meeting of two worlds, brought together by a shared appreciation for thoughtful spaces, inspiring conversations, and meaningful connections.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, and to our wonderful co-hosts at @marcusbarnettstudio for making it such a special morning.

Here’s to more moments where art and nature meet.

It has been a busy and inspiring fall season so far at newcube, and we’re excited to share all that we’ve been up to.

This season marked the soft launch of our new artist platform, a space dedicated to amplifying emerging voices and guiding collectors embarking on their collecting journey. We’re proud to expand our roster of artists and continue championing those whose practices push boundaries and invite dialogue.

As part of this launch, we’ve highlighted new works by @pedro_ruxa and @homa_arkani, two rising artists living and working in Belgium. We placed a suite of works by @megane_likin with a young collector in San Francisco. We’re excited to share more from an exciting selection of artists, both familiar and new, in the coming months. Stay tuned!

Early October, we were delighted to participate in the inaugural Split Level Fair in New York City, where we presented Brooklyn-based @sleepymagick’s new paintings. We reconnected with galleries, curators and advisors in the city.

Last week, our founder @bibzzzi was featured on the @allaboutartpodcast, where she discussed newcube’s mission and our vision to guide both collectors and artists throughout their art journey.

On the advisory side, newcube continues to grow. Alongside our collectors, our team traveled to Frieze London and Art Basel Paris and we were delighted to place exceptional works in collections, in Europe, the Middle East and the Americas. We discovered new artists and galleries, and re-discovered the greats, who remind us why we love what we do.

Looking ahead, newcube will be in Miami this December for Art Basel. If you’ll be there too, we’d love to connect, whether you’re new to the fairs, ready to build your art collection, or simply eager to navigate Miami with expert guidance. Our advisory team is available for tailored fair walkthroughs, one-on-one collecting support, and private introductions.

If you’d like to schedule time with us in Miami, please reach out, we’re here to help you plan a purposeful collecting experience.

Pedro Ruxa’s (@pedro_ruxa) practice unfolds through a balance of visual clarity and philosophical depth, where painting becomes both a sensory encounter and an intellectual inquiry.

Rooted in precise color relationships and refined composition, his work moves between figuration and abstraction, revealing images that feel familiar yet remain enigmatic.

By stripping context and placing his subjects against fields of pure black, Ruxa suspends them outside of time. The paintings operate like memory traces - visual fragments that invite contemplation rather than explanation. They resonate in the space between recognition and interpretation, between what we think we know and what we begin to imagine.

“In my work, I am interested in reducing the image to its essential vibration. What remains is not the object itself, but the echo of its meaning. The painting becomes a site where perception and thought unfold together.”

Explore the rythmic world of Homa Arkani (@homa_arkani) - where gesture meets abstraction, and strength intertwines with nature. Through layered subject of hair, she reveals and conceals, balancing visibility, mystery and modes of expression.

Discovery & rediscovery. Seeing ‘Build From Here’ by Wolfgang Tillmans at Maureen Paley - especially in 4 Herald St, part of his former London studio - is definitely one of our London highlights during this eventful Frieze week.

Marking the 20th anniversary of Tillmans ongoing work cycle, the show gives only a glimpse into Tillman’s observation-turned-creation genius.

In the midst of Frieze London chaos (and a flurry of headline-grabbing sales!), we’re finding a quiet kind of calm in discovering new artists and local galleries.

Alicja Kwade’s sculptural works, which have graced the rooftop of The Met and the Venice Biennale, question ideas of time, uncertainty, and reality. This weekend, her solo exhibition opened at the @m.leuven in Belgium.

Born in Katowice in 1979, the renowned artist pushes the boundaries of how we see reality and has been shaping the global art scene for years.

We are proud to have placed her works in notable collections through newcube advisory.
