Want To Be A Successful Hitter? Get really strong!

The most successful hitters at any level are the ones who hit the ball hard. High exit velocities aren’t a product of swinging hard, but are a product of being strong. Weak hitters cannot produce high exit velocities, regardless how hard they swing. Ultimately, high exit velocities give a larger room for error when hitting the ball at different launch angles. by @nextlevel_baseball_development

Too many youth hitters try to be someone they’re not physically capable of being. Constantly taking max effort swings in hopes of a homerun is not a recipe for success. Very few young hitters are true power hitters, leading to many of them hitting for such a low average.

If 60%-85% of Northeast recruits land at a Mid-Atlantic or Northeast school, why are players fixated on showcasing their abilities in South, Midwest, or West regions?

Too often high school baseball recruits are fed unrealistic guidance. Everyone wants to chase the D1 dream while 55% of northeast recruits land at a Division 3 school. Be smart and strategic with your time and money in your recruiting efforts!

If you aspire to play in college, you cannot neglect your physical development. Tracking your diet and living in the weight room is a must!

A majority of players who ignore their physical development often fall short of their collegiate aspirations. Generally speaking, you don’t have control over your height, but do over your weight!
