Hi! My name is Nicol and I am on a mid life health and wellness journey. I have been inspired, supported, and encouraged by so many on this platform, it is time for me to give back. I am currently on a Compounded Tirzepatide and working with a calorie deficit. Since June 2024 I have lost 51 pounds. I have more pounds to drop, muscle to gain, and mental shifts to happen. I am a constant work in progress. I am happily married with two children. My daughter is 21 and my son is 17-soon to be an empty nester. This page is for accountability to myself, for ideas, for support, and hopefully lots of laughter! ✌🏼❤️😊 by @nextstepsnicol

SHUT THE FRONT DOOR!

After 10 months in the 80s, with several recomp successes (down 2 pants sizes, more toned) and mental victories, I am gifted this! This moment deserves a permanent space. It’s more than the number.

It’s perseverance. It’s using my own knowledge to pivot and change, it’s demonstrating patience, and it’s a result of knowing I needed to do some things different!

That 70’s show begins now!

15 years apart! I had lost 40 lbs and was on top of the world that night! You can imagine my delight when that memory popped up the other day. Fast forward 15 years and I am down 112 lbs and from that picture almost 60…… deep breath, blink away the tears. I feel strong, confident, and healthy. I still fall, make not the best choices, and hit snooze (like today). When the light switch flips and you drop the goal weight and vanity and focus on overall health. It’s a game changer! Pssst…. I love dating my husband and best friend💕. #transformationtuesday #healthandwellness #healthyhabits #onelife #loveyourself by @nextstepsnicol

I’m 50! Do hard shit! This exercise is very intimidating to me. Do it anyway! #fitover50 #hardshit #try #healthandfitness #startnow by @nextstepsnicol

@thekeepablelife is a way to take steps forward! I would love to learn more about your journey! #habitcoaching #nutritioncoach #healthyhabits #putyoufirst by @nextstepsnicol

Hotel gyms are not always the greatest but you can make it work (if you want to)! You can also make a no weights body weight only workout work when you are away from the normal routine (if you want to). The key is… do you want to? #muscleandhealth #noexcuses #healthandwellness #habitcoaching #thekeepablelife by @nextstepsnicol
