50kg down… and this is more than just weight loss.

I started this journey with muscular skeletal damage, PTSD and severe anxiety. I couldn’t walk, stand or even sit for long without pain. I missed out on precious time with my toddler because my body and mind were both fighting battles I didn’t choose. I was flooded with the strongest meds just to function — and I wasn’t living, I was surviving.

Physio was my starting point. Small movements. Tiny wins. Then one day I went rogue… I forced myself back into the gym. Not because it was easy, but because I refused to stay stuck.

It wasn’t quick. It wasn’t pretty. It was tears, setbacks, flare-ups and fear. But it was also resilience.

Now? I’m thriving.
Healthy. Fit. Confident.
Stronger mentally than I’ve ever been.
And constantly evolving.

This is your reminder that rock bottom can be a foundation. 🤍

Client appreciation

Steph walked into the gym with me back in March to learn to use free weights since then she’s jumped into a Beginners comp in May and ended the year with a run out in Novice/Inters and didn’t look out of place and hit PBs on everything. Who can ask for anything more than that. Big things ahead for her as I pass the reigns to @ashley_pinkney123 who’s going to handle Steph from now so I can concentrate on being a supportive BF and not a harsh coach lol

Smiles all day cheered everyone on and always talking people up along the way. The best girl I know and she’s mine 👏👏👏

Today’s competition results…..

Event 1 Truck pull: Matt did unreal in this event but unfortunately at the cost of his calf. He is injured and made the right decision to call it a day and rest up before Europes and the rest of the LNF. Proud of him for knowing when to stop.

The rest of the comp was great cant wait to watch it on TV.

March vs September.

After losing 8 stone, I became obsessed with being skinny. By March, I was basically starving myself and malnourished with loose skin, still chasing a number that never felt low enough.

Now I weigh more and retraining my brain to accept that has been HARD. 🥲

But I’m learning that weight gain isn’t failure.

So yes, the scales are higher.

But so are my lifts.
So is my strength.
So is my confidence.
And so is the amount of respect I have for what my body can do.

March me was chasing skinny.
September me is chasing strength.

I’m fuelling my body, building muscle and learning to see myself for what I am now:

A strongwoman. 🖤🏋️‍♀️

Strong over skinny. Always.
