La frenada también te habla a través de la maneta.

Vibraciones, pulsaciones o un tacto diferente al habitual pueden indicar que algún elemento del sistema no está trabajando como debería.

Un desgaste irregular, un montaje incorrecto, suciedad o un disco fuera de tolerancia son algunas de las posibles causas. Pero una misma sensación puede tener distintos orígenes, por eso es importante revisar el conjunto.

Si notas que la respuesta de la maneta ha cambiado, no lo ignores. Detectar una anomalía a tiempo ayuda a mantener una frenada uniforme y segura.

Your brake lever can tell you a lot about what is happening in the system.

Vibration, pulsing or a change in feel can all be signs that something is not working quite as it should.

Uneven wear, incorrect installation, contamination or a disc outside its specified tolerances are just some of the possible causes. The same symptom can have several different origins, which is why the braking system should always be checked as a whole.

¿Un disco más grande siempre significa más frenada?

No necesariamente.

Un mayor diámetro puede aumentar el brazo de palanca y ayudar a gestionar mejor determinadas exigencias térmicas, pero el rendimiento de la frenada depende de mucho más.

Diámetro, espesor, pinza, pastillas, neumático, montaje y, sobre todo, compatibilidad con la moto deben trabajar como un conjunto.

Por eso, a la hora de sustituir un disco, más grande no significa automáticamente mejor.

El disco correcto es el que está diseñado para tu moto y para sus necesidades de frenada.

Does a bigger brake disc always mean better braking?

Not necessarily.

A larger diameter can provide greater leverage and may help with heat management in certain applications, but braking performance is never about diameter alone.

Disc thickness, caliper, pads, tyres, installation and, above all, compatibility with the motorcycle all need to work together.

So when it comes to replacing a brake disc, bigger is not automatically better.

The right disc is the one engineered for your bike and its braking system.

Cada vez que frenas, parte de la energía del movimiento se transforma en calor.

Y una frenada intensa no somete al sistema a las mismas condiciones que varias frenadas seguidas.

En circuito, puertos de montaña o conducción exigente, el calor puede acumularse más rápido de lo que se disipa. Por eso, disco, pastillas y resto del sistema deben gestionar ciclos térmicos repetidos de forma consistente.

No se trata solo de frenar fuerte. También de mantener el comportamiento frenada tras frenada.

Every time you brake, kinetic energy is converted into heat.

🏆 Primera victoria de la temporada para Karns / TST Industries Racing.

Un último fin de semana lleno de contratiempos terminó de la mejor manera posible: con Isaac Woodworth y la Suzuki GSX-8R en lo más alto del podio de MotoAmerica Twins Cup.

Una victoria que reconoce el trabajo, la capacidad de reacción y el esfuerzo de todo el equipo durante la temporada.

El Synergy Racing Team continúa dando pasos adelante en el Campeonato de Velocidad de Portugal.

En la última cita disputada en Estoril, el equipo consiguió dos terceros puestos en Moto4, cerrando su mejor fin de semana de la temporada hasta el momento y confirmando la evolución de su prototipo.

Un resultado construido carrera a carrera, ajuste a ajuste.

Ahora llega el último reto del campeonato: Estoril IV, del 2 al 4 de octubre.

Orgullosos de formar parte de un proyecto que sigue evolucionando dentro y fuera de la pista.

Synergy Racing Team continues to make strong progress in the Portuguese National Road Racing Championship.

At the latest round in Estoril, the team secured two third-place finishes in Moto4, marking their best weekend of the season so far and showing the continued development of their prototype.

El asfalto mojado cambia las condiciones de agarre y también la forma en la que debemos frenar. Por eso, antes de salir, no solo importa adaptar la conducción: el estado del sistema de frenado también merece atención.
