20 days in! 👀 And here’s something I wish more people understood about flexibility:

You don’t need a different stretching routine every day to see progress.

In fact, repeating the same exercises can be incredibly useful.

Why?

→ You learn how to perform each stretch correctly.
→ You become more aware of your alignment.
→ You can gradually increase your range of motion.
→ You can actually notice improvements over time.
→ Your body gets repeated opportunities to adapt.

Of course, variety has its place. But constantly changing your routine isn’t necessary.

Sometimes the secret isn’t finding a better exercise. It’s getting better at the exercises you’re already doing. 🤍

20 days down, 10 to go! 🥹

💾 Save Day 20 for your next stretch.

Who’s still stretching with me since Day 1? 👀

A little reminder: you don’t have to be good at something to enjoy the process of getting better.

Maybe your splits aren’t where you want them to be yet.

Maybe you’re progressing slower than you expected.

Maybe some days you feel like you’re going backwards. 😂

But think about it…
You’re taking time for yourself.
You’re learning what your body can do.
You’re building strength, patience and consistency.

And that’s already something worth being proud of.

Don’t get so focused on reaching the floor that you forget to enjoy the journey. 🤍

💾 Save Day 19 for your next stretch.

Be honest 👀 Are you enjoying the process, or just waiting for the results?

Ever wondered why you can stretch consistently and still feel like you’re making no progress? 👀

Here’s something interesting: improving flexibility isn’t just about making your muscles longer.

Your nervous system also plays a role in how much range of motion you can comfortably access.

With consistent flexibility training, your body can gradually become more tolerant of stretching, allowing you to move through a greater range.

That’s why progress isn’t always about pushing deeper or stretching harder.

Sometimes it’s about giving your body enough time to adapt.

Remember:
→ Consistency matters more than intensity.
→ More discomfort doesn’t mean more progress.
→ Strength and control matter too.
→ Your body needs time to adapt.

Don’t force the range. Build it. 🤍

💾 Save Day 18 for your next stretch.

Have you noticed certain stretches getting more comfortable over time? 👀

Can’t touch your toes? Try this little trick 👀

Instead of pulling yourself forward and forcing the stretch, try changing how you get into the position.

Sit up tall, hug your legs, bring your chin towards your knees and slowly slide your legs forward, only as far as you can comfortably control.

The goal isn’t to force yourself into a deeper stretch. It’s to explore the movement gradually.

Save this for your next stretching session! 🤍

You don’t have to choose. 🤍

You can love training and love resting.
You can be disciplined without being restrictive.
You can have big goals and still enjoy the little things.

I’ve realised that the lifestyle I want isn’t about doing everything perfectly. It’s about building habits I genuinely enjoy, while leaving room for everything else that makes life good.

Strong and soft. Ambitious and present. Disciplined and spontaneous.

There’s room for both. Always. 🤍

Can you do this with control? 👀

Looks simple… until you actually try it. 😂

It’s not just about flexibility. This movement also challenges your ankle and hip mobility, balance and coordination.

Would you give it a try? 🤍

One of the biggest mistakes when training your splits?

Only stretching the muscles that feel tight. 👀

Your front splits involve more than just your hamstrings!

You also need to work on:
→ Hamstrings: The back of your front leg
→ Hip flexors: The front of your back hip
→ Glutes: Strength and hip control
→ Core: Stability and alignment
→ Active flexibility: Learning to control your range of motion

And remember, feeling tight doesn’t always mean you need to stretch harder.

Sometimes you need more strength, better control, or simply more time.

Train the whole position, not just the stretch. 🤍

💾 Save Day 17 for your next stretching session.

Which feels tighter in your splits: your front leg or your back hip? 👀

Could you live like this for the next 10 years? 👀

I think that’s a question we should ask ourselves more often when setting health and fitness goals.

There’s nothing wrong with wanting abs, more muscle, better fitness or a specific physique. But the habits you build to get there should also fit into a life you actually enjoy living.

For me, that means training because I love it, eating well most of the time, resting when I need to, and still having the cheeky wine without feeling like I’ve “ruined” anything. 😂🍷

Health isn’t a temporary goal. It’s a way of living. Make yours sustainable. 🤍

What does balance look like for you?

The boring answer nobody wants to hear: consistency. 😂

No magic stretch.
No perfect routine.
No one session that suddenly changes everything.

Just doing it again. And again. And again.

Your body needs time. Give it time. 🤍

How long have you been working on your flexibility? 👀

A fun one to try if you’ve been working on your back and shoulder flexibility.

Take your time getting into it, don’t force the range, and only go as far as you can comfortably control. 🤍

Would you try this? 👀

Stop checking your splits after every session expecting them to look different. 😂

Progress doesn’t always show up as suddenly being 5cm closer to the floor.

Sometimes progress looks like:
→ The stretch feels more comfortable
→ You can hold the position for longer
→ Your hips are better aligned
→ You have more control
→ You’re actually staying consistent

Not all progress is immediately visible.

Keep doing the work and let the results catch up. 🤍
Day 16. We keep going.

💾 Save this for your next stretch.

Have you noticed a difference since you started following along? 👀
