I don’t think I’ll ever be able to fully put into words how incredibly proud I am of you, @nhollohan. Watching you walk across that stage and accept your white coat yesterday evening to begin your medical journey was one of those moments I’ll never forget. ❤️

I’ve watched you work so hard, push through the difficult days, and continue to chase your dream of becoming a doctor, even when it wasn’t easy.

The next four years of med school will undoubtedly challenge you, but I have absolutely no doubt you’ll rise to every challenge, just as you always have. And if you become even 1% the doctor that you are a mom to Charlotte, you’re going to be an extraordinary doctor.

It’s world breastfeeding week! What a privilege it’s been feeding my baby in a way that works for both of us.

In the hospital. In the back of my car. On the beach. In the woods. In a change room. By the pool in Florida. At the passport office. During appointments. What a journey.

5 months and counting, it’s been the most challenging and beautiful and rewarding and draining and fulfilling and exhausting and truly amazing experience I am lucky to have the privilege of navigating with my daughter. Breastfeeding is no joke, and we’ve had a pretty easy journey with it, but we wouldn’t be able to do it without the support circle we have surrounding us. Here’s to all the mamas taking on the rollercoaster that is breastfeeding ✨💕
