I don’t think I’ll ever be able to fully put into words how incredibly proud I am of you, @nhollohan. Watching you walk across that stage and accept your white coat yesterday evening to begin your medical journey was one of those moments I’ll never forget. ❤️

I’ve watched you work so hard, push through the difficult days, and continue to chase your dream of becoming a doctor, even when it wasn’t easy.

The next four years of med school will undoubtedly challenge you, but I have absolutely no doubt you’ll rise to every challenge, just as you always have. And if you become even 1% the doctor that you are a mom to Charlotte, you’re going to be an extraordinary doctor.

I’m so lucky to get to stand beside you through this journey, and I can’t wait to watch you become the doctor I already know you’re capable of being. I love you more than I can put into words, and I couldn’t be prouder of you. ❤️

Nicole and I are so excited to introduce the newest member of our family. Welcome to the world, Charlotte Jaime Marsh ❤️

Both mom and baby are doing well and I am beyond amazed for Nicole’s strength and love shown throughout this entire process. You never cease to amaze me ❤️

Pregnancy is the first of many willing sacrifices we will make as mothers. It’s the start of a tiny crack that forms in our hearts. At first I thought having my baby and meeting her would be the most love I’d ever feel, but it’s wild how exponentially that love grows every single day. Just as the days get harder at times, the love grows stronger and stronger. The crack grows wider and wider. It heals, it cracks again. Love fills it over and over until that heart looks completely different from how it started before they came into the world. We’re worn but we’re stronger, we’re broken but we’re also mended with gold. We’re softer, and we feel more, and we ache more. Over and over and over.

I no longer recognize myself before motherhood. And I don’t particularly miss that person either. It is a wild ride that I’d go on a million times over. Because of that there’s nothing more intimate and more special to me than photographing these moments of anticipation for mamas to be. To know in just a few short weeks, they too will be completely different people, loving on a brand new tiny person who will crack their world wide open.

🧡 Thanks to this brave mama for enduring the bitter cold today to capture these photos together.
