Better late than never!

We were invited back onto the ever brilliant @voices_radio last month. A slightly different show to the usual nonsense as we focussed solely on more club oriented sounds. Check out some highlights above and listen to the full thing on our Mixcloud 🫰🫰

We’re back! After 3 months of doing everything but recording radio shows, Nic has pulled together 2 hours of wax he’s been digging this summer, for your listening pleasure.

🪩 Equal parts silky and swampy. 🦠

(06) Time Machine - slow instrumental hazy sort of jazzy guitars to start this one off, before a switch into more of a soul / street soul summer party feel inspired by the Death Is Not The End Rare Groove Blues Dances and House Party tapes 1985-1992 available on Bandcamp.

Recorded June 2026.
Photo taken in Buenos Aires, April 2024.

Listen back to the May edition (03) of the Sound Affects radio show, live from York Grove.

This one was recorded last bank holiday Sunday - a Cross the Tracks warm up per se with Fleas take on Frank Ocean, soul, MPB, salsa, jazz funk, weirdo Alex Turner AM tunes, stretched out bongo business, deep house and our first attempt of a jingle. More to come.

Video may have killed the radio star.. but it didn’t touch these two beginners!!

We’re back with the (albeit late) April edition of the Sound Affects radio show. As in March, the whole bag is thrown at this one from horizontal jazz finger clickers to upright dancefloor body movers. Nervous (and sometimes insightful) ramblings dotted in between. Give it a listen - link in bio.

It was a gorgeous sunny day when we recorded this and we may have got carried away with the reggae.. and we admit that.. and that’s fine..

Enjoy and let us know what you think! X by @nic___fr

We’re just landing back down on planet earth after the long weekend.. some musings to come in our May Sound Affects radio show 🚀

We were glad to be back on the @voices_radio waves on the Saturday! Very little patter from us this time and much more of an emphasis on music for the club. Flick through for some music, new and old, that we’ve been digging 🫡🫡 link in bio x

We also got around to recording our April episode of Sound Affects radio over the weekend. This will come out in the next few days (yes, we know it is May) so keep your eyes and ear holes peeled for that!

With love from ours, to yours xxx by @nic___fr
