The morning dad died, I stepped outside his back door to a sense of peace and stillness I hadn’t felt before, like the world had paused with us. I recorded it that morning, not knowing why, only that it felt sacred. Today on the anniversary of his passing, I’m sharing it in honour of dad … and of that quiet moment that felt touched by something beyond us 🤍 by @nic_mcclure

Happy Birthday River, 2 years old today 🎈🎈When we rescued him at 4 months, I wasn’t sure I had room in my heart for more love, Dad was declining, and life felt heavy. But this little wild soul wriggled his way in, cracked my heart open, and has been helping to heal it ever since ❤️❤️ by @nic_mcclure
