Still reeling from this past weekend with LVC!

Here is one of my favorite pieces from the concert. Wait until the choir enters for the special lighting moment.

“Just do your own thing.” 🥳

@ptxofficial was the first concert I ever saw, and the first concert of this caliber I ever performed in.

After nearly four years of leading one of the best choruses on the planet, I am officially stepping down in my role as Director of the Youth Pride Chorus. This was an incredibly difficult decision to make, as these young people have changed my life in so many meaningful ways. I began leading this historic program at an age when I was still learning about myself, and they gave me the opportunity to learn, grow, and lead alongside them.

A tradition that we began after my second concert was singing the song “Crowded Table” at the end of each performance. It has become a staple for my time with LVC, and they decided to share this song one last time with me yesterday. What you can’t see in this video is me sobbing in the center of the room (which is exactly what they wanted 🤣).

I’m so proud of these young people and cannot wait to see how this program blossoms and grows under new leadership. Thank you, @youthpridenyc 💜 taken in New York, New York by @nick.sienkiewicz

Now that the ink is signed, I’m so excited to announce that I’ll be serving as Visiting Assistant Professor of Music and Interim Associate Director of Choral Activities at Lehigh University for this upcoming academic year.

I am so grateful to all of my friends and colleagues that came before me in this position, and I am ecstatic to begin working with the incomparable Sarah Frook Gallo.

I have fallen in love with this community in the Lehigh Valley, and I am so excited to work with the incredible students at Lehigh this year!

Valencia, you were a dream. Never did I ever think I would travel internationally to compete in a sport or sing in a choral festival (and never at the same time)! I’m so grateful for this beautiful experience with these friends. The trip of a lifetime! ⚽️🎶 taken in Valencia, España by @nick.sienkiewicz

The verdict is still out on the tails. ✨

Throwback to the Lehigh Valley Chorale’s 10th Anniversary Concert this past May.

Conducting to me is wizardry, and I think these photos show exactly that. 🪄
