It’s called remember.

And it’s a reminder that life is short and beautiful, so fill it with the good stuff! Human and animal friends, music, connection, wonder. Play. Do what you love. Love what you do. Slow down. Look at the moon. Enjoy the sunset. Eat good food. Be kind to yourself. Speak your truth. Be curious. Love with all your might.

I started organising all these pictures on my phone thematically. Memories of walks I’ve been on. Memories of joy, connection, wonder. Sunrises and sunsets. My feet in different directions places in the world.
Somehow the memories of these moments from the past come with finest detail, feeling, light and gratitude, sometimes a soft squishy feeling in my heart reminiscing times past, yet at the same time i am reminded that there is only this moment, only this feeling - now, here, this.
And even when things seem challenging, I don’t need to fear my experience. It’s all ok, all allowed, all welcome. And all so very very fleeting.

Remember - EYE WITH AN EYE
OUT THIS FRIDAY.

This is a big one. @lisa.lisacooke came to my studio for a writing session last August, and on her journey that morning she saw a new mother with her baby, seemingly struggling to cope, desperate. Lisa felt deep sympathy for her, being a new mum herself, and this unknown woman became the spark for the song we wrote that day.

Here’s a nice thought: Just maybe, one day, she’ll hear it.
