4th at Ironman 70.3 Augusta

A year ago I raced here and had one of my worst races, and honestly wasn’t sure what my future in the sport looked like. Fast forward a year, and I’m walking away with my best 70.3 finish to date and a spot at next year’s 70.3 World Championships in Chattanooga.

The nor’easter moving through the Northeast forced 70.3 New York to be canceled the day before the race. Augusta then opened up a pro men’s field, so I made the last-minute trip down to Georgia. It was a chaotic 24 hours, but I came looking for a podium and finished just 26 seconds short of 3rd.

Huge thank you to my family, coach @yoderperformance sponsors, friends, and everyone who has supported me this season. Couldn’t have written a crazier ending to it. 🫡

We’re excited to officially introduce our 2027 Foley Athletics Team Races. Three opportunities to bring the crew together, show up in numbers, and compete at the highest level. From the season kickoff in California, to Happy Valley, and all the way to one of the most iconic races in the sport at Lake Placid, we’re ready to make some noise. 😈

35th at the 70.3 World Championships.

A tough swim put me near the back and made for a long day of chasing, but I never gave up. A 1:09 half marathon brought me back to 35th.

A year ago, I wasn’t sure where this long-course journey would take me. Now I get to line up in Nice with the best in the world.

Sunday is another chance to see what I can do and leave it all out there.

Big thank you to my coach, my sponsors, my family, and everyone who has supported me along the way. I wouldn’t be on this start line without you.

11th at Leipzig 70.3

Tough day out there for me. A rough swim put me in a bit of no man’s land for the rest of the day, but I’m happy to finish with a 1:08 half marathon off the bike after a few off runs in the last couple races.

Nicholas is a Professional Triathlete who has been involved in the sport since the age of 5. He completed his first 5K at just 7 years old and began competing in draft-legal triathlon at 13. Throughout high school, he raced cross country and track while continuing to develop as a competitive junior triathlete in the United States.🇺🇸

During his short-course career, Nicholas competed at the highest levels of draft-legal triathlon, earning multiple podium finishes at the Continental Cup level and representing the United States on the international stage. His speed and versatility were highlighted by his ability to run sub-15-minute 5Ks off the bike, showcasing his strength as a well-rounded short-course athlete.

Nicholas represented Team USA at the Junior World Championships before going on to compete at three U23 World Championships. After several years racing internationally in the draft-legal format, he made the transition to professional middle-distance racing, shifting his focus to the Ironman 70.3 distance.

In his first full season as a professional 70.3 athlete, Nicholas established himself as a consistent contender with multiple top-10 finishes against world-class fields. In 2026, he earned qualification for the Ironman 70.3 World Championships in Nice, France, following a breakthrough performance at Ironman 70.3 Chattanooga. His recent performances include a 5th-place finish at Ironman 70.3 Chattanooga, a 6th-place finish at Ironman 70.3 Gulf Coast, and a 13th-place finish at the Ironman 70.3 North American Championship. He has continued to demonstrate his ability to compete at the highest level of long-course racing, including running a 1:10 half marathon off the bike in professional 70.3 competition.

With his sights set on competing among the world’s best, Nicholas continues to build toward reaching the front of professional long-course triathlon while sharing his journey and helping athletes achieve their own goals through coaching.
