“If you want to change the world, don’t ever, ever ring the bell.”

After 14 months of training, a 15-hour race, and more challenges than I could have imagined, at 18 years old, I AM AN IRONMAN!!

419 days ago, I told myself I was going to become an Ironman. Many called me crazy, doubted my abilities, and said it was impossible. But I’ve learned that with determination, consistency, and relentlessness, it is all possible.

A few weeks ago I ended up getting super sick from over training and underfueling, which put me in the hospital. The past month I was barely able to train. Many people told me my race was over, apart of me was starting to believe them. Standing on that start line Saturday, regardless of what was going to happen was such a privilege.

Race day was filled with tears, doubt, and moments I questioned whether I would finish. I literally cried the entire marathon, but the support of the racers, volunteers, and spectators carried me forward.

I want to thank my mom and best friend @loganstumpf06 for coming to my race and supporting me the entire time, this did not go unnoticed. Slide 3, that is Tim the first timers coach in Maryland, I couldn’t have done this without him. When I was doubting myself he believed in me, and gave me the strength to keep going. To the volunteer who did the last 6 miles with me and became my friend, and her mom who made me smile every lap. To the racers who reminded me to just “ride to ride”, not worry about the time and to just keep making forward progress.

Thank you to my entire family, especially my mom and @willow.baker08 who have been huge supporters. To my best friend Mike for always believing in me, inspiring me and helping me remember I am enough. To my coach @nick___holmes thank you for giving me the confidence to make it to the start line, and the courage to finish the race. I couldn’t have done this without you. To my bike group, especially Jim for teaching me, pushing me and believing in me. To @lennonjohnf thank you for becoming unbelievable invested in my journey, you have coached and inspired me more than you know.

I may have been the one to cross the finish line, but my community got me there. ❤️

2027 is already shaping up to be a BIG year for Foley Athletics. 🔥

We’re excited to officially introduce our 2027 Foley Athletics Team Races. Three opportunities to bring the crew together, show up in numbers, and compete at the highest level. From the season kickoff in California, to Happy Valley, and all the way to one of the most iconic races in the sport at Lake Placid, we’re ready to make some noise. 😈

🌴 TEAM RACE # 1 — IRONMAN 70.3 Oceanside
📍 Oceanside, CA April 3, 2027

🦁 TEAM RACE # 2 — IRONMAN 70.3 Pennsylvania Happy Valley
📍 State College, PA May 23, 2027

⛰️ TEAM RACE # 3 — IRONMAN Lake Placid
📍 Lake Placid, NY July 25, 2027

We want a BIG Foley Athletics showing at all three. Whether you’re racing for a PR, chasing the podium, taking on a new distance, or coming out to support the team, these weekends are about bringing the entire crew together.

And of course, we’ll be racing for more than individual results. The goal is 🥇 TriClub at every stop. 👊

Three races. One team. A whole lot of purple. 🟣

2027, we’re coming. 🔥
