what a journey !

what a journey , becoming an artist, slowly meeting the people that inspire and shape you and your art and my understanding of what i want to communicate with art and what it means to me to be an artist.

this work had people in tears & that was a super crazy thing to experience, that something i had worked on could touch people’s souls to the point of tears, felt so humbling and empowering all at the same time, I felt like people gave me back everything i had put into this work and more & i’m still not over that feeling even 2 months after the first showing. i guess everyone can relate to these inner struggles we go through, it’s interesting how art can hold up a big mirror to us and remind us how we all are humans with similar struggles and emotions.

watching this again, i get emotional , this was such an amazing project to work on with @shaggyandbaggy , can’t wait till we perform this again !!

Double debut on Yorkville in Toronto !!

So grateful to share not one but two new works in Toronto this week:

I am very proud and excited to announce that these paintings are now on view inside @taglialatellatoronto right here on Yorkville.

The large-scale painting was unveiled in the street for @yorkvillemurals, and is now in the gallery.

This project was a huge and rewarding challenge , seeing it come together in both settings feels surreal. It was intense working and transporting the big mirror & I definitely broke a lot of glass while doing tests. In the end everything came together smoothly.
Very little sleep , caffeine, sugar and loud music got me to Toronto in time

A huge thanks to my friends who helped me carry materials and pack the uhaul, thanks to the whole team behind @taglialatellatoronto and @yorkvillemurals

And a very special thanks to mastermind @alan_ganev

4 paintings finished, signed and ready to be wrapped and delivered.

Feeling very grateful and proud of what I’ve accomplished in this building.

Feels like a huge chapter I’m turning ,
The next few weeks, months, years are very vague and very exciting.

Growing up watching the @cbc , it’s felt super special to be featured on their page . It’s also funny to see my art in a sea of Olympic sports coverage, I feel honoured to have this platform even during such an important time in sports they still posted my art, which is really appreciated.
