Day 8: “Paying” attention to my internal state. As if the simple act of witnessing what’s actually happening im my body & mind is a real form of investment into my current and future self. That I hold the keys to giving myself the peace, safety, relaxation, freedom, abundance, resources, etc. that I have been seeking to get through outside means . Ayyyyye it’s my bday!! Another trip round the ☀️in the books... This last year has felt like a cacoon year for me...retreating from much of “normal” life in the hopes i could grow and evolve into the next stage of myself. I have definitely met a lot fear, resistance, self doubt, uncertainty & general inner shit, but have come away (especially from this last trip) feeling like something has shifted in me. Like a quiet, calm force in my heart + mind... saying you’re ready for the next phase of your life. I know I’m not finished evolving & don’t know exactly where that’s going to take me, but I know it has something to do with building a beautiful, powerful + meaningful world for not just myself, but for everyone around me.
I’m so grateful for all the people who have helped shape me into the man I am today + all those who have laid the groundwork for the man I am becoming. I am so lucky to be where I am at today, to even be alive on this planet & to have potentially another year to grow, create + share love w/everyone. I just hope I can continue to find the courage to face my fears, the discipline to show up everyday, to grow, to speak truth not ego & love like never before. I’m sharing for a multitude of reasons, but mainly to be real, show gratitude and to publicly hold myself accountable! 😉
