Get off the floor without thinking about it.

Carry something heavy. Move fast when you need to.

Climb. Crawl. Jump. Rotate. Balance. Fight. Recover.

That’s what I train for.

Built for life.

Not to look younger. To trust my body instead of protecting it from life.

Strength matters.
Mobility matters.
Endurance matters.
Speed and reactivity matter.

But none of them mean much by themselves.

What matters is what they let you do.

Not being limited by your body.
Not slowly shrinking your life around what you can no longer do.
Not becoming fragile because the seasons changed.

I want to be strong, confident, and free at 60. At 70. And beyond.

Act your energy, not your age.

I coach people over 50.

One spot open right now.

BREATH OF SIGNAL

Humans are the only species that spends a lifetime trying to become someone else.

Stronger.
Smarter.
More successful.
More spiritual.

Always chasing the next version of ourselves.

Never enough feeling.

A maze without an exit.

What if nothing is wrong with you?

What if the issue is not who you are, but all the noise standing between you and yourself?

The expectations.
The conditioning.
The pressure to fit in.
The roles we learned to play.
The parts of ourselves we learned to hide.

Over time, we numb the signal.

We stop listening to our body.
We stop trusting our intuition.
We stop acting on what we know is true.

Then we wonder why we feel disconnected.
Why success doesn’t feel the way we thought it would.
Why we are surrounded by people and still feel alone.

Breath of Signal is an invitation to quiet the noise first.

To tune in and reconnect with the part of yourself that existed before the labels, the stories, and the opinions of others.

Not self improvement.

Self recognition.

The inner voice beneath all the noise.

Join us as we welcome summer together overlooking Zuma Beach.

A morning of breathwork, movement, reflection, and connection.

Not to become someone new.

To remember the real one.

Strength Is a Skill. Adaptability Is the Goal.

Why?

Because strength is one of the last physical qualities we lose as we age. Power, speed, balance, reactivity, and mobility tend to decline first.

Monday is my mobility day. My body is fresh, recovered, and ready to move after a day or two of rest.

What matters?

Multidirectional movement. Enough load to create adaptation. The goal is to be strong in every position, every angle, and every situation.

Have you ever spent years lifting weights, then hurt your back putting on a sock or picking up something light?

It happens all the time.

Some of the strongest people I’ve ever met never trained in a gym. They worked construction, on farms, or with their hands. They carried, pushed, pulled, climbed, lifted awkward loads, and moved constantly.

Their bodies adapted to real life.

Strength is a skill.

At 50+, the goal is not to be the strongest person in the gym. The goal is to stay capable. To move well, recover well, and keep doing what you love for decades to come.

Train strength. Train mobility. Train balance. Train power.

Train all of them. Because nature rewards adaptability. Specialization is for performance. Adaptability is for longevity.

What does your 80 or 90 year old self need from you today?

Someone asked me in my last post why I train people the way I do.

Because bodies change. Especially after 50.

The same routine that built you for decades can eventually break you. After 50, recovery shifts, hormones shift, and what the body needs shifts too.

When a client comes to me, I don’t plan workouts. I plan results. Every session starts with an assessment: how they slept, how they move today, and what their body is actually telling us.

Today I trained Sarah. She loves tennis and brings sharp, strong, unstoppable energy to every session.

I suggested we work legs. She immediately replied, “We did legs last week.”

I smiled because her response told me everything I needed to know.

She didn’t need more of the same. She needed something different.

So we shifted to speed, core, rotation, and explosiveness. Nothing revolutionary. Just the right combination to get the greatest return from every rep and leave her feeling strong, capable, and energized.

That’s the whole game. Not training harder. Training smarter.

We’re not here to be athletes. We’re here for agility, strength, mobility, and longevity. To stay in the game until the very last point.

Act your energy, not your age.

Are you doing the same thing every time you walk into the gym, or are you exploring everything your body is capable of?

Monday is about priming the body and mind for the week ahead.

For the chaos. For the unseen. For the unknown.

A mix of movement, intensity, speed, balance, and coordination.

I don’t train to be better at training.

I train to be better at life.

The research is clear: movement improves mood, focus, decision making, and our ability to handle stress. The way you start your week influences how you move through it.

At 50+, I am here for the long game.

I am training for vitality, capability, and longevity.

The goal is not to act my age.

The goal is to act my energy.

How do you prime yourself for the week ahead?

What are your favorites supplements to optimize yourself?

Breath of the Last Human.

This coming Saturday May 16th
9am to 11am.
In Malibu facing Zuma beach.

Teaching what machines can’t.

We are living in a time where people are chasing the impossible illusion of perfection. Perfect body. Perfect life. Perfect spirituality. Perfect image.

What will become rare is rawness.
Imperfection.
Real humanity.

The truth is most people are exhausted trying to maintain a version of themselves that doesn’t even exist.

A performance.
A mask.
An identity built for approval.

To be human is to continuously destroy the illusion of who we think we are supposed to be.

The polished version.
The controlled version.
The one always pretending to have it together.

Saturday is not about performance.
It is about truth.

If you need to scream, scream.
If you need to cry, cry.
If you need to breathe and finally feel something real again, come.

No pretending.
No spiritual theater.
No fake perfection.

Just breath.
Just movement.
Just humans remembering themselves again.

After 50, SARCOPENIA starts happening. Not a disease, just reality. Muscle, strength, power, speed, reactivity, coordination, and metabolic efficiency all gradually begin to decline.

You feel it getting up, training, traveling, sleeping, living.

This is why movement becomes mandatory after 50. Strength, mobility, power, balance, reaction time, conditioning, and recovery all matter. The body adapts to what you continue asking from it, and slowly declines through what you stop demanding from it.

Research is clear: strength training, conditioning, mobility work, sleep, recovery, stress regulation, and sufficient protein intake can dramatically slow physical decline and biological aging.

My Hume Health data currently estimates my biological aging rate around 0.5. That is not luck. That is years of training, recovery, breathing, better nutrition, and consistency. And also having the right people in my corner as @healstrongofficial Jared as peptide specialist and nutritionist.

After 50, training only for Personal Record makes less and less sense to me. Longevity is a bigger conversation. Mobility, adaptability, and recovery matter just as much as strength.

Many people are still training at 50 exactly the same way they trained at 30 while ignoring joint integrity and tissue capacity. Then come surgeries and chronic pain without ever questioning the method itself.

Intensity still matters after 50, but intensity without awareness becomes self destruction.

The goal is not just to lift heavy. The goal is to stay capable, sharp, mobile, body intelligent, and vital.

You do not stop because you age.
You age because you stop.

Strength is a skill.
Curiosity is a sign of intelligence.
Playfulness is a pillar of longevity.

Training with @kseniastetski is always a privilege. She is always willing to challenge herself, learn, push, and evolve.

I always say:
if you think training is hard, try life.

Training is stress.
But training is also regulation.

Too much stress without recovery eventually breaks the system down. Stress plus recovery is what creates adaptation, growth, and anti-fragility.

This is why play matters.
Playfulness keeps the nervous system adaptable. It keeps the brain engaged, creative, responsive, and alive.

Train hard.
Laugh.
Move.
Learn new skills.

And don’t take yourself too seriously when you work out.
That is part of the practice too.

Breath of the Last Human.

This is not about stress relief.

We live in a world that pulls us away from the body, away from presence, away from feeling, away from truth.

Faster.
More distracted.
More stimulated.
More disconnected.

This workshop is a return.

Through breathwork, somatic movement, and guided awareness, we work directly with your nervous system, your body, and your mind to come back to what makes you human:

the ability to feel
the ability to choose
the ability to stay present
the ability to live with direction

This is not an escape from your life.
This is a way back into command of it.

You will breathe.
You will move.
You will feel.
You will remember.

Breath of the Last Human.
Teaching what machine can’t.
Human connection.

Last weekend, Nick and I had the opportunity to lead a baby blessing ceremony for a beautiful couple in Malibu.

Nick has turned his high-end event experience into a bespoke wellness production company, and together we created a customized ceremonial container for the couple including cacao, meditation, and prayers for their growing family.

I’ve led a few of these baby blessing ceremonies, and each time is such an honor. I know they are a ripple of something ancient, something carried inside me from the times when sacred ritual was a regular part of life.

This time especially, I noticed the contrast between the pace of ceremony and the busyness of daily life.

I felt how much time slows down in moments of reverence. I realized how often major milestones in our lives are breezed by, or celebrated in surface-level ways that don’t honor their true significance. I realized how many people are hungry for the sense of meaning & connection that comes from these types of rites of passage & initiations that have been lost in our culture.

I watched this couple really slow down to honor this huge transition in their lives. I witnessed their tears and intentions for the ways they wish to show up as parents. I got to share in the purity of their love for their coming baby boy, and their desire to craft a powerful prayer field for his safe entry into the world.

Prayers and rituals like this not only create a field of energy that ripples into time and space, they also drop us into a sacred space where momentous occasions or transitions can be truly honored. It’s a space where we get to feel genuinely connected to each other and to something greater than ourselves. I believe these are the moments we’ll remember - the ones that anchor us into presence and allow us to remember the miraculousness of life.

I’m using the energy this week (7 planets in Aries) to create more boundaries for what’s sacred. For me, this means daily rest & connection through Yoga Nidra, allowing space to receive the guidance coming through so rapidly right now.

May we take time to connect to whatever is sacred to us. Practices in comments to help. ❤️‍🔥
