Elite wedge players don’t hope. They calibrate.

They use deliberate backswing checkpoints:
• Hip high
• Chest high
• Shoulder high

And they train those positions every single practice session.

Control the backswing length → control the carry distance.

Your swing tells you how far it goes.
With 3–4 wedges and defined backswing lengths,
you create 12–16 stock scoring yardages.

That’s 12–16 shots you can hit on command (NO GUESSING)

Some of my favorite moments between practicing a proposal at our local Petco last spring and making it official a few weeks ago. 🥹

I love you @nickioesch! ✨ Thank you for holding my hand when I’m scared on the plane, baking the best cookies, being a killer pickleball partner, always indulging me when I want a coffee shop date, endlessly hyping me up, and helping me realize soulmates exist.

The only thing I would change about our relationship is how much better you are at Scrabble than me.

Life is more magical and silly with you by my side. I’m so lucky we get to be wives. LOVE YOU! 🌈👭 by @nickioesch

If you’ve ever wondered how to hit a pitch shot that curves and spins to the right, here’s how:

Step 1: Imagine the shot in your mind. All of the golf balls that had accumulated on this green made it super easy to imagine a cut shot. In my mind, I imagined a curved runway leading towards the cup.

Step 2: Set the club face square to your target

Step 3: Set your feet up slightly open to your target

Step 4: Swing the direction of your feet

Step 5: Admire your art 🧑‍🍳

This is how I like to start off all of my range sessions. Alternate hitting shots with just one hand and then pair the hands together. This helps create good low point control, good tempo, and promotes the proper sequence for good ball striking.

I promise it will help your game 💪
