World music at the Rex always keeps you on your toes 🌍🎹

One second we’re locked in, the next Jon Nvita takes the music somewhere completely unexpected and the whole band has to figure it out in real time. That’s the beauty of improvisation, listening, reacting, and trusting the moment.

“Pretty good for no rehearsal 🎹😂”

Just a jazz band figuring it out in real time — singing, piano, bass, drums, and pure live music energy. Sometimes the best performances happen without a plan.

Started on piano, now adding vocals into the set 🎹🎤
Figuring out how to balance both on stage.

Had a great time playing the music of @jon_nvita last night at @lulalounge . When you’re playing with such a great band it’s super cathartic!
