A little singing. A little chaos. A lot of laughing with Nick. 😂🎹

Here’s a peek at rehearsals for Get Back Up Again—the moments that are coming together… and the ones that clearly need another run. 🤣

Come for the music, stay for whatever happens between the songs. ❤️

How it started in 2019: trying to rehearse with Nick while my 2- and 5-year-olds climbed all over me. 😂

How it’s going in 2026: Audrey is almost 13, still climbing all over me… but now she’s offering Nick banana bread. 🍌🍞

The kids get bigger. The rehearsals remain questionable. Somehow, we make music. ❤️🎶

Come see what happens when we actually get through a song at Get Back Up Again — A Cabaret featuring Pamela Scott & Friends!

Great music, wonderful friends, and a whole lot of heart. Banana bread not guaranteed. 😉

Join me and an incredible group of friends for a night of music, laughter, friendship, community and probably at least a few tears (but the good kind 😂).

This night is about starting over, finding joy when life doesn’t quite go according to plan, and celebrating the amazing people who help us get back up when we’ve been knocked down. ❤️

I have some ridiculously talented people joining me, and I cannot WAIT to start sharing who they are and what we’re planning. 🎤✨

Grab your tickets and come be part of our village. ❤️

Music. Community. A Brighter Tomorrow 🌈

Since 2023 we have been working to refine and define who we are as people, performers and artists. During that time we wrote a lot of original songs that 1 by 1 taught us a little more about who we are, what we stand for, and what we want to say with our art.

Today marks the culmination of that journey with the release of our debut EP - '222' - 6 songs that had the most impact on our lives so far.

Pull up the link in our bio and listen wherever you stream music. Then come back and leave a comment on this post to tell us what you think and how it made you feel.

Extra special thanks to everyone who lent their talents to bring these songs to life!

Taking my sweet time posting this but we had a marvelous night once again. At our September West Vocal Jazz Jam at port Credit’s Crooked Cue. What takes the enjoyment level up a couple notches is having a great band. So with players Nick Mustapha @nickonthekeys and bassist Ross MacIntyre @rossmacintyre1 we had that luxury…and then some. Thanks again to Heather Christine for the commitment to these wonderful community events and commitment to community. It’s a beautiful thing. @heatherchristinemusic. Once again we were treated to a wonderful special guest in Chelsea Johnson and Meep Moop opened the night for us. (Sorry - I neglected to get footage of either of these two talented women. You will certainly see some though on Heather’s page). Just posting what I was able to get! Rocco Continenza @rocconroc and Cat Bernardi’s performances are featured. @catbernardimusic #jazzjam #jazzvocalist #portcredit #mississaugamusic

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us this week for our Mississauga Music Week edition of the West Vocal Jam at the Crooked Cue! The event featured the wonderful Chelsea Johnson, Founder of the Reimagined Roots Collective with an opening performance by Meep Moop. Thank you to Mississauga Music for sponsoring these featured performances. It was such a joy to share an evening of music with 19 talented vocalists.

A very special thank you to Chelsea for sharing her gorgeous voice, exciting musical interpretations, and inspiring stories with her Musical Director Nicholas Mustapha on keys.

West Vocal Jam wouldn’t be possible without our outstanding instrumentalists, who create the perfect foundation for our singers to shine. Thank you to Ross MacIntyre (raised in ‘Sauga) who joined us on bass with Nick on keys. Your exceptional musicianship and sight reading shone throughout the evening.

A huge round of applause to our amazing singers! Thank you to Liane Fainsinger, Cat Bernardi, Carole Marcotte, Mimmie Adams, Paul Saghbini, Sadie Culliford, Jack Ridout, Tracy Cui, Elizabeth Bettencourt, Larry Galloway, Ivetta Melkumyan, Denise Leslie, Joann Rossiter, Rocco Continenza, Dyanne Dumas and Veer Suchak for performing so beautifully for us. You shared your talents so generously. West Vocal Jam exists because of artists like you, and we’re grateful that you continue to bring your voices and hearts to our community.

We’re also deeply grateful for the ongoing support of our audience and community supporters: the Mississauga Arts Council, the Port Credit Community Foundation, the City of Mississauga (Live Music Grant), and The Crooked Cue Port Credit. Your generosity helps make evenings like this possible and provides a wonderful space where our community can gather, connect, and create.
