Struggling with your Dendrobium nobile dropping its buds? Try this… 🌸

Ohhh, dat gevoel wanneer mijn Dendrobium nobile ineens al haar knoppen laat vallen… 😅💔
Mijn eerste gedachte is altijd: ‘Wat heb ik nu weer verkeerd gedaan?’
Maar ik weet inmiddels dat het vaak aan de omstandigheden ligt, niet aan mij.

Bij mij gebeurde dit toen het binnenshuis kouder en droger werd. Deze orchidee is gevoelig voor:
• temperatuurwisselingen
• tocht bij ramen
• te veel water
• te weinig licht in november

Wat hielp?
Ik zette haar op een lichtere plek, zorgde dat ze geen tocht had, gaf iets minder water en verhoogde de luchtvochtigheid een beetje.
Binnen een week stopte het knoppen drama en voelde de plant zich weer rustig en tevreden. 🌿✨
Dus als jouw knoppen ook vallen — je bent niet alleen. Planten reageren op de seizoenen, net zoals wij. 💗

Hoe gaat jouw Dendrobium er nu bij? Ik ben benieuwd naar jouw ervaring!

Oh, that feeling when my Dendrobium nobile suddenly drops all its buds… 😅💔
My first thought is always: “What did I do wrong?”
But usually, it’s the conditions, not me.

For me, it happened when it got colder and drier indoors. This orchid is sensitive to:
• temperature changes
• drafts near windows
• too much water
• too little light in November

What helped?
I moved it to a brighter spot, kept it away from drafts, gave a little less water, and increased the humidity slightly.
Within a week, the bud drama stopped, and the plant felt calm and happy again. 🌿✨
You’re not alone if your buds are falling too. Plants react to the seasons, just like we do. 💗
