5 años sin celebrarte juntos en Tijuana como lo hacíamos con mis tías y mi abue cada año. Lamento lo que el tiempo nos robó pero luego me recuerdas que siempre estás conmigo en todas partes del mundo. Started the year chopping off my hair to let go of old weight and memories. Took a work trip to Denver and hiked Manitou Incline on a whim with my cousin and his wife. Had THE most life changing trip of my life in Brazil with a best friend. Got new tattoos. Watched my Lakers play. Went to therapy. Ran the LA marathon with my lifelong best friend. Visited my dad’s grave and spent time with my sister. Saw el papi chulo de Rauw in concert with friends. Celebrated my Abuelita’s 90th! Gymed. Partied. Deepened my relationships with friends. Hiked a ton. Felt like myself again. Planned a girls trip to PR and cried to Bad Bunny’s concert. Ran some races. Discovered a newfound love for salsa & bachata. Spent every Sunday I could with family and played lots of lotería. Gymed some more. Said goodbye to LA. Moved into a new apartment on the East Coast. Reconnected with old friends. Closed out a beautiful year with a month-long trip back home with those I love most.

2025 taught me how to fall in love with life again. Always thankful to God for this little life of mine. 🫶🏼✨

anotha weekend, anotha hike 💪🏽

📍 Veteran’s Park Trail in Sylmar, CA
⛰️Loop trail: 7ish total miles. You can hike up the steep hills and go back down the same way or go down the flat trail for a longer but easier alternative.
⏰: Took us 1.5 hrs to reach the peak and 3.5 to complete the entire thing
🌞: The heat is no joke! Recommend going early and taking a large water bottle and snacks
