I made a thing. Not quite sure what I'm going to do with this crazy fruit bowl, but I love it. Amaco Velvet Underglazes with clear glaze and clear crackle glaze, multifired at cone 06, then wiped with India ink. #amacounderglaze #amaco #ceramics #underglaze #velvetunderglaze by @nicole.hoff.arts

I have a clean classroom! This is one of only two days a year where I have a clean room and an empty desk: the first day and last day of school. L

End of the school year: Get outside and paint! Then use the paper to cover your shelves over the summer and wrap up projects to send home.

My classroom door says "Welcome to Mrs. Hoff's Art Room. Please pardon our mess. Creativity is messy and we are VERY creative!". To all my fellow art teachers watching - and to any administrators who need to hear this - it's OK to have a messy art room. It's proof of good teaching!
