I’m so excited to see and support the most awesome, kindest and talented human @ed_begley_jr and his daughter @haydenbegley I was lucky enough to have Ed star in my first feature film @theeggandmefilm and play my character, Natalie’s best friend. To say we had fun is an understatement but more to come on that front…. Ed is doing a play this weekend to raise awareness and proceeds for Parkinson’s disease at the @elportaltheatre this weekend only so please donate and come on out to see the play if you can and let’s support Ed and Hayden~
@Proofforparkinsons starring Ed Begley Jr. This playwright David Auburn from Akron made a perfect Chicago play and it’s got so many laughs for Chicago people or people in academia. If you’re in LA it would great to see you. It’s a fundraiser but if price is an issue I have discounts for any night except the Friday VIP red carpet night when the @michaeljfoxorg foundation and many TV and film industry people will be there. Reach out to me privately. If you have Parkinson’s or are taking care of a loved one, you’ll especially appreciate this happening. When the play comes down the goal of raising 100k remains. Nicole Stuart landed in Los Angeles in 1995, when the city still ran on Thomas Guides and black-and-white headshots. Thirty years of auditions later she wrote the part Hollywood would not give her. 40ish… is a 25-minute comedy about Natalie, a 40-year-old actress who can still act, but nobody in the room knows where to put her. Too old for the ingenue, not yet whatever a woman is allowed to age into. Then casting asks the two questions that gut her: what is your “real” age, and how many followers do you have.

Stuart wrote it, produced it, edited it and stars in it, directed by Traci Hays. It played over 30 festivals including the Cannes Court Métrage Short Film Corner, the Micheaux Film Festival and Festival of Cinema NYC, and Stuart took Best Actress at the Montreal Independent Film Festival, the Toronto Film Magazine Fest and the International New York Film Festival. The story did not stop there. The feature it set up, The Egg and Me, wrapped in July 2026 with Ed Begley Jr., Jonathan Silverman and Jennifer Finnigan.
