More than necklaces, we’ve collaborated on blending Ceramic art with fine jewelry techniques.

This statement piece made of white and red clay, is linked by sterling silver chains and encrusted with precious stones; opals and peridots.

Our collaboration is built on a dialogue between two distinct worlds.

Nicoline Thim, a Danish ceramic artist, grounds her practice in nature, raw materials and organic forms. She allows the natural irregularities and unpredictable qualities of clay to remain present in the finished work.

Each piece bears the traces of its making, giving it a distinct character of its own.

Mouna Barhdadi, a fine jeweller with Franco-Moroccan and German roots, anchors her practice in the raw geometry of industrial forms. Her universe is structured and precise, brought to life by the vibrant colours of her selected gemstones.

Beyond these aesthetic differences, the two artists share a deep fascination for ornamentation. Their shared interest in ancient jewelry and ceramics serves as a bridge between their respective techniques. by @nicoline.thim
